My kids 2&amp;3 opened it up played with it for about 15 minutes and then they were done. Found the pieces in the tub, they also got really confused about some of the fruits /veggies. We love love love Melissa and Doug but I definitely struggle with getting my children to complete puzzles. As the headline says it's durable! The wood is awesome bc they won't break. Depending on the price I would probably buy this. She loves it now because she can count, identify colorful foods and use the chunky pieces to pretend cook with some of her other fake foods. But I don't believe it's a toy she will continue to play with for the rest of the year. When I heard the words &quot;chunky puzzle&quot; I knew the pieces would be a little bigger but I assumed it would be more pieces.
