Everything is made for little hands. The furniture and dolls are sturdy and can withstand play with little people. It's bigger, which I adore. When Barbie isn't sleep in it, her dinosaurs are, so it's very versatile. The only things the I find negative is the ease of putting the secondary bed away under the primary bed. The plastic it's made of his not cheap and flimsy. I personally would prefer it to come with a doll. The circles on the headboard is a nice touch for the clock to sit nicely and not fall or slide all over. For a younger child the clock could pose as a possible choking hazard however it isn't a deal breaker because it's not super small. The bed is 3 seperate pieces that easily snap and slide into place with a cute little clock that snaps onto the headboard. The bed is very big and fits My First Barbie perfectly along with any other Barbie dolls you might have. My only compliant is that the pet is a plush and the stuffed bear is plastic. Because it is specifically for the My First Barbie, it is a bit larger than a traditional Barbie, but my 4 year old found that the smaller dolls fit very nicely as well. The set comes with some cute accessories, including a soft pillow and blanket, a stuffed puppy, a hard plastic bear and an alarm clock. The headboard has 2 circles where the alarm clock, and accessories from other My First Barbie sets, can fit securely and stay in place. This bed also acts as a trundle bed, with the second bed pulling out from under the main bed. My newly 4 year old has a hard time pulling the trundle out by herself, but I think that will get easier for her with time. She has a dollhouse with a bedroom set, but when she wanted to set up a sleepover, she got frustrated because one doll was on a couch, one was in a bathtub with blankets, and one ended up sleeping on a table. She is thrilled with this set because the trundle bed makes it so easy to fit more dolls in a smaller space, and in a much more fun way. The furniture is sturdy, and I can tell it won't break easily. I didn't realize the My First Barbie sets were sized for slightly larger dolls, but it still works beautifully for the standard size Barbies, too. The accessories are adorable. Who wouldn't love a kitty alarm clock? The blanket is incredibly soft, and my daughter described it as &quot;velvety&quot; and couldn't stop touching it.
