My daughter enjoyed combing through it and kept touching it. The only accessory it came wirh was a bracelet and it didnt come off. The shoes however where the first to slip off during pretend play and so we promptly got rid of them. The doll is flexible enough to provide a fun playful experience and sturdy enogh to not break. This is one of the main positive points that our daughter loves about this particular doll, along with the gingham dress and the bracelet. The dress has a Velcro closure at the top of the collar in the back and it is roomy (and stretchy enough) to remove and put on the doll without a lot of effort. Also, our daughter loves the tapered cut of the dress, because it is similar to one of her favorite summer dresses (and she quite enjoys the bow in the front of the collar as well). The stark contrast of the doll&rsquo;s dark hair and the pale complexion is another positive aspect of this beautiful doll. One of the main disappointments is related to the doll&rsquo;s hair. While it was expected initially to be softer and more manageable, after a week of play, quite the opposite has happened. It is not as bad as some of the other dolls, but the issue has been raised a number of times. The biggest complaint, however, is the doll&rsquo;s shoes, which have a tendency not to stay on the doll&rsquo;s feet. After removing the elastic bands, which held the shoes in place originally, the shoes have been located (thankfully) in different places around the house and in the car. As of right now, the pair has been reunited but has not been placed back onto the doll&rsquo;s feet. After a few days of having to locate the shoes, our daughter decided that it was too much of a bother to keep trying to put them back on again. The overall quality and durability of the doll seem excellent. The negatives have not restricted the amount of play, so we still consider this a win!
