It is just one with more colorful clothes and hair. That's pretty much the distinguishing characteristic. If your daughter likes Barbie to begin with, as mine does, then this will be an ok addition. But it isn't, in my opinion, something so special that you have to get it. That said, this still has the usual Barbie quality. It is well made and will entertain your child as much as any other Barbie. There just isn't anything special about this one that makes it a "must buy."</span>

The 3 year old just loves it. My own personal observations of this Barbi is that it doesn’t really stand out vs any other Barbi except for a strip of purple hair. I thought, being a fashionista, it would of had jewelry on or an elegant gown,
I guess you could say I was disappointed but the children loved it just the same. The 3 year old sleeps with her and thats when the 9 year old gets her chance. Both girls love her as she is the same high quality all Barbi dolls have always been. I would definitely recommend Barbi just Not necessarily this one but any Barbi.</span>
