Has a chemical taste to it . Noticed it on my babies fingers when he tried to put them in my mouth . I tried washing it a couple more times but it&rsquo;s not going away . This worries me, it will be going in the garbage . Why?!</span> <span itemprop="description">I bought this toy for my 6 m old baby boy. He loves it. The hanging pieces are constantly in his mouth, offcourse, he's a baby. I accidently noticed that these pieces are BITTER!!! Tastes so bitter every one of them. I tried to wash up this taste, but instantly comes back. HOW is this possible, dear Kids2?! My 4 month old loves to grab the different shapes and examine them. It is really helping her to practice using her hands to grab and hold different shapes. My two year old is having a great time working on learning his colors and shapes with all the hanging pieces of this toy. He also is using his emerging vocabulary to label the pictures that match with the shapes. This toy feels sturdy and safe for both kids to use. The plastic pieces are a little tough at first to fit into their spots so my son will sometimes ask for help but he is able to get them out without a problem. It&rsquo;s fun for baby, but not so much for a toddler. I wouldn&rsquo;t hesitate to buy this for any baby under one year old.
