Their fur is incredibly soft from head to toe. The construction is actually very complicated, giving him lots more lifelike features than a regular plush. He's filled with polyfill (recycled!) and has no plastic &quot;beans&quot; weighing any part of him down, so he's extremely lightweight. He stands on his own just fine without being overly firm or overstuffed. I'm really impressed with how he's made, no loose seams or stray threads, and overall feels like he will take a whole lot of abuse -- er, adventuring, and loving. I checked out the other plushes in the BBC Earth line in-store and the ones who have fur this length like the grizzly bear are just as soft and lovely! The only negative is that Sir David Attenborough does not follow you around narrating your bear's life.
