The under the sea music is so soothing along with the lights sets this toy far above any other bead mazes I&rsquo;ve come across. He isn't very interested in the beads, but I think he would have really enjoyed this if he was a few months younger and not on the go as much. It helps me during dinner to keep him occupied so I can enjoy my meal. Recommend this highly. The music it plays and the button they can hit to play music is great for this age. My three year old has also enjoyed it and plays with it. But for the most part the best age is 2 and under in my opinion. Like all B. toys, this is a great quality product. It is also beautifully designed without being too visually overwhelming for little ones. Some of my toddler's favorite things to do with this toy include: -Practicing counting and talking about colors while moving the beads along the wire maze -Pointing to the pictures on the wooden base and naming the different sea creatures -Pushing the light and sound button and running around until the music stops (my favorite part is that the sound can be turned off for a light-up only effect, which is helpful when my newborn is trying to nap while the toddler plays!) Overall, this is a great toy that can keep toddlers engaged and aid in age-appropriate learning.
