I kept the ball play indoors because I was worried that I would lose them should we play with them outside. The design of the light foam ball was interesting, made it easier to catch, and definitely invites children to inquire what makes this toy so successful. Unfortunately, since the ball doesn't bounce back directly in one direction, it makes it challenging for kids guess where it will land and catch it. I would be hesitant to bring it outdoors because I'm not sure how the elements will affect the foam and whether it can be machine washed and dried.</span>
