My son likes a variety of toys and was excited when opening this. The packaging was attractive and seemed to show everything the toy included. There are some very small parts that are easy to lose. I do not suggest this toy if you have cats. The doll fits in the different furniture. My son had interest for a day or two then moved on to other toys. She immediately opened the package with ease (always a plus) and set up the Barbie/accessories within the &quot;house&quot;. She loved playing with the slide and elevator. After playing with the set individually for a while, she decided the playset would be a perfect size for her regular Barbie dolls to use as a dollhouse/Barbie house and brought it upstairs to be part of her regular sized Barbie play. Now Barbie can easily travel in the car, on a plane, or even on a train. The swing was fun for my daughter to play with. Barbie and her cat fit in it easily although I think the elevator that easily raises and lowers and the slide into the pool was used more during her playtime. My 7 year old wished that the included Barbie would fit into the depressions for her to stand up a little more securely. She wanted to have her be a little more firm when she stood up because if you accidentally bumped the house or her, she would fall over. My daughter also wished that more people and accessories came with the house. The small size was adorable but without more Barbie's to play with, this didn't hold her attention for long. My child was thrilled that the &quot;mystery box&quot; contained not only a teeny tiny Barbie, but an itty bitty kitty and cat tree! The house also comes with a bed, swing, elevator, attached slide, and a small pool. It is colorful and fun! The Barbie doll bends at the waist so she can sit. There are depressions on the Dreamhouse floors where Barbie can be attached to stand in place. Only complaints are that she doesn't stay on the swing well and I wish it came with some sort of carrying or display case so all the little pieces don't get lost. My only wishes are that, first, it folded into a self contained capsule so pieces do not get lost in transport. Second, I wish it was ever so slightly bigger. The house is bigger than expected, and works on its own (as in, no need to have all three house pieces to enjoy it). We got the pet cat in the mystery box and it is ADORABLE! The cutest, tiniest thing we've ever seen :) The quality is quite good. I was a bit afraid it would be flimsy but it's not. The side elevator is awesome and easily slides up and down. Note that the swing attaches below the slide (there's a little hook for it). It took us a while to figure out that it doesn't go on the tree as packaged haha.
