In the past I&rsquo;ve had a similar thermometer that was also no touch but unfortunately it never worked properly and I couldn&rsquo;t get an accurate or consistent reading. But I&rsquo;m very excited to say that this product is much different and works very well. I took my own temperature with a thermometer that you place under the tongue and then I used this new Braun No Touch + Forehead Thermometer and they both had the same temperature reading. This new thermometer is very easy to use and is fool proof, not to mention it&rsquo;s extremely accurate. There are only two buttons, one is the power button and the other one you press to take the temperature reading. If you&rsquo;re not close enough to the forehead you&rsquo;ll see the word &ldquo;forward&rdquo; displayed on the screen. The sensor will know once you have the thermometer in the correct spot and will then take the temperature reading automatically. The product also has an auto off function after 60 seconds to help save the battery life. It feels like a high quality product and is very comfortable in your hands.
