It keeps them busy for awhile and they have really enjoyed watching the show now too! This toy is very cool! Ive personally never seen a vehicle toy that can move the way this one does. Being able to lift the tires to high five and pose is a very neat feature that sets this toy apart from other automatic vehicles. It has two settings for play. Pressing down on the lights quickly triggers phrases and movement (including the eyes!). Pressing the lights longer triggers some interactive scenario settings, which is a unique way to help guide the play. Flash will detail a situation thats happening where he and Bo need to respond. Pushing Flash will trigger responses based on the scenario offered. It helps to keep the play interesting and not too repetitive, and also helps encourage more imaginative play. Flash recognizes Bo in the ladder basket, which can also lift and pivot. The toy came with stickers that were promptly used to decorate Flash and make him one of a kind. As a parent, I appreciate the two volume settings! This is, in short, a very cool toy that offers a lot of unique play opportunities. It triggered immediate arguing about who got to play with it first, haha! It is very interactive and great for imaginative play. The phrases and movements are so much fun, and my son loves that he can firstbump the firetruck. It's durable, and can withstand my 2.5 year old son, so that's saying something. Thats pretty cool. My kids also love the little fist bump function, which we dont see a lot of in other toys. I took off 1 star because the truck is a bit heavy, assuming because of all the tech thats inside. It is an awesome toy for kids who love the Firebuds show. My kid really likes how the Bo and Flash figurines look, with their bright colors and smooth edges. They are fun to play with and safe too! The best part is the deluxe vehicle that comes with them. It's strong and can handle all the adventures I imagine. I can easily push it around, and the wheels work great on different surfaces.
