She takes ballet so she loves that her Barbie does too. She loves the pink and blonde hair colors. She is also obsessed with ballet and is learning a Nutcracker dance in her ballet class. She is having a blast &quot;teaching&quot; her ballerina Barbie all the ballet moves she has been learning. The doll is posable and actually stays in the pose it is arranged in. The outfit is also very pretty, even though it does not scream &quot;ballerina&quot;. The pink hair, brush, and accessories have also inspired lots of playtime activities! The beautiful pink and blond hair first attracted my daughters interest. She would love that the doll could also move her feet to flat and pointed. We noticed that in addition to a dancer, there is also a soccer and basketball player - we searched a few stores and online to see if there was a field hockey player... there isn't - hint hint. :) The only thing that I would say that I/we didn't like is that the design on her dress is printed on - a bit of a disappointment - Barbie has always been known for her beautiful clothes (It's usually why my daughter requests a particular doll, she likes the clothes - we definitely expected something more glamorous for a &quot;Nutcracker Barbie&quot;). She loved her dress. It is so well made and beautiful that it caught her eye right away. We both loved how easy the shoes were for her to actually take off and put back on on her own. We loved that it had extra shoes beside the ballet shoes and my daughter loved playing with all the accessory pieces.
