Khoala kristy is great for kids that are either going to get a new pet or a new sibling because it teaches them maternal instict along with responsibility. My girls love that not only does khoala kristy have a bottle to feed him with and a rattle to play with khoala kristy also walks alond sits and plays. The koala is cute but not very cuddly. It is furry but hard beneath the fur. She babbles and will walk around, but only in one direction. She moves forward with no way to move any other way. The box says she will follow the noise of her rattle, but I don't think it really works that way. She moves forward in five second intervals and pauses afterwards for about 5-15 seconds, with or without the use of the rattle. Her arms/legs and head are posable, she can lay down, sit and stand. Her head moves up and down. She comes with a bottle that you can put in her mouth to 'feed' her, as long as the bottle is in her mouth she will slurp on it. She has a button on her back that you can press to get her to make noises and walk around. She will fall asleep with about 10 minutes of no interaction. She makes a variety of babbling noises as well as burping and hiccups, but it gets old very quickly. My son was entertained with her for all of four days. Now she sits forgotten in his room. I think this toy is better suited to a four year old. My son is six and while he loves her and likes to feed her, she is unable to keep his attention.
