This time it's different! This toy doesn't operate the same as the others. This toy is way more interactive. Your child gets to pick one of the fruit bundles and put it on the elephant and have the elephant identify what it is. The elephant not only tells you the item but also how many they are and the color. It's cute because the elephant pretends to sniff it out and gets his answers from his trunk. It's sturdy enough to hold up to older kids, toddlers and little babies. My 5-year-old has a way to interact and teach his younger siblings. This toy is really cute. Very educational. Overall. I did have to tell her repeatedly to stop trying to force the ears in place, as there&rsquo;s songs that make the elephant&rsquo;s ears flap open and closed over her eyes. I do wonder how well they&rsquo;ll hold up to rough play. The songs are ok, some educational points like learning colors and scents. Meaning in the way of it's more for children that are 2 to 4 years old. I have a 4-year-old and he loves it, but it didn't keep his attention that long. I will say though that he enjoyed all the movement of the elephant ears and trunk that really got him excited. It was something new and unfamiliar to him. What I mean by it didn't keep his attention for long is that his curiosity and attention only lasted a week before losing interest in it because it's real basic fun and learning. So I would be aware of that maybe it should be more for two to three year olds. I don't know he grabs it every now and then, but only to play with it for a moment and something else catches the attention. But hey their children anything catches their attention, but overall I would definitely recommend it.
