It was very easy to assemble, ready to play with in a matter of minutes. The ramps are such fun and have 4 smart points with over 50 songs, sounds and phrases. To start, the directions are horribly confusing and you have to put a lot of stickers on. This is very time consuming and hard for an excited toddler to patiently wait for while their parent struggles to put the thing together and put stickers on it. I can't tell you the last time I've had to put stickers on a product it's been so long, they come nowadays with the stickers already on. The pictures in the directions are black and white so it's hard to tell which piece is pictured, and you can not use the picture on the box as a guide because the actual pieces are colored differently than the ones pictured on the box, and the track is set up in an impossible way on the box. The pieces do not stay together easily and the track it constantly falling apart, which is so frustrating for a toddler that doesn't understand the poor design and why his new toy is always breaking apart and for the parent trying to calm down the toddler and put the track back together over and over again. I eventually just based putting it together from the picture on the box.After finally assembling the Monster Truck Rally toy, I attempted to move it to a different area. The entire thing fell apart. As my son was trying to play with it, parts continued to fall off. It was very easy to assemble, even this great grandma accomplished it. The ramps are such fun. The 4 smart points create over 50 songs, sounds and phrases. The boys love when the car reaches those, they try to guess what will happen. They are learning to hold the car properly, push the launch and share. It is very well constructed as it has withstood these 2. It has multiple track configurations, so it's like a new toy each time. It is easy to build so they can easily do it themselves and build it any way they want to. I like that you can add onto to it with separate tracks. I will say it doesn't stay together well and can easily be knocked apart which is a little annoying for them, but it's not too bad. They snap together and don't come apart as easily as the old version. My daughter got her Mickey Mouse version a few years ago and over time the connections have come loose and the pieces can easily detach when bumped. But it's great there are adapters so I can link to the older tracks. Only thing is when you set it up in 2 towers, the end of the tracks go nowhere.. But that's okay, it just looks weird. The lane changer is a little cheap, the car gets stuck a lot. My son is a bit young to really appreciate it, for now, but I have a lot of fun showing him how it works!
