He is 2 and cant operate a remote control without crashing all the time. This RC car was a perfect match for him. It has only two buttons, drive forward and spin. No left or right buttons, just a spin button. Let me tell you, it's the easiest remote to control. My toddler figured it out right away and loved the car from the moment he got his hands on it. It is pretty big, strong and heavy enough to ride over rugs. So far it's been the most favorite toy among little ones. So far it is holding up well to a rough 3 year old boy and he enjoys playing with it. Go! RC Cory Carson for my three year old son, who's obsessed with cars. This VTech RC Cory Carson, with its wacky driving and fun talking, instantly grabbed my sons attention. The control has two buttons. Triangle goes straight and star does a backwards spin, which helps if he gets stuck. Honestly, my toddler just loves watching him spin and hear his funny sayings. He is still trying to figure out how to drive the car. The car itself is pretty well made, and sturdy for bond to happen bumps. If you press Cory Carson windshield/face, he lights up and has even more catch phrases. Only draw back I have noticed with this RV car, is that it doesn't do well on medium to thick carpet. Luckily I have hard wood floors in my kitchen, but 80% of my house is carpet. Has a good speed on hard surfaces, and easy to drive. Also, if it were to bump into a person, full speed, they wouldn't get hurt. I tested that personally on my husband. All that to say, we all had fun playing with VTech Go! Go! It takes batteries. The remote is appropriately sized for small hands and the buttons are very easy to use as well. This is my sweet nephew&rsquo;s first RC car and he has had a blast playing with it! The kids at the playground get so excited to see the car going. He loves to make the car spin. This is definitely a great toy for toddlers. My nephew is 3 years old and had no trouble learning how to use it. He is so interested in how the remote makes the car go. Cory Spin and press the spin button on the remote control to do so. Go!Go! Cory will drive forward and it will also back up, spin, and do tricks. On Go!Go! Cory you can also press the light-up windshield button and it will say exciting phrases and play six melodies and fun sounds from the show. The light will flash with the sounds.
