The truck is not as large as the construction vehicles but not overly small (possibly one scale down from the larger trucks). When I was opening the box at first glimpse from my son, I couldn&rsquo;t get the truck out fast enough for him. He loves this toy! This is the kind of truck that can survive indoor/ outdoor usage. The buttons were very easy to press on and was entertaining for my two year old. Since there are no small parts, it is not a choking hazard for any child. This fire engine can be enjoyed by kids less than 3 years. It also had a ladder that can be extended a little bit.
