The train was the only toy he would play with for a solid day, he even slept with it! He enjoys watching it travel on his own. He likes the noises that it makes when it is on. He likes putting the train on its side and just watching the wheels turn on their own. He enjoys hiding the duckie under the tarp. My only complaint is the clips that connects the train cars. They seem a little fragile and I foresee them getting broken with how my 3 year old plays with toys. Very versatile , they love to transport random accessories to their other toys . The little duck can hide under the sheet for a 'surprise'. Can take batteries to run on the track, but not necessary. This Secret Agent Thomas is a great addition to our collection. Thomas' disguise is very amusing and a new spin on the classic Thomas #1 engine. My nephew loves the motorized trains and this one is great because Thomas hauls two additional train platforms (with accessories: the silly rubber duck and the draped curtain). Like all other motorized Thomas engines, this one requires a couple batteries; once inserted, it chugs along smoothly and quickly. Secret Agent Thomas is whimsical but easily recognizable. He played with them for at least an hour in one sitting, and has continued to gravitate towards them day after day. We had them going on the floor, and then we set them up on a regular train track; they work well on all surfaces! The train requires two batteries, and seems to last a good amount of time. The switch on them is very easy to operate and the train cars can be taken apart and moved around, which my toddler likes to do. The toy seems very well made and durable as well. She was hesitant at first as she was unsure why it did not move on it own as some of her other trains move when they are pulled back and then let go.
