The table feels very sturdy, and we were able to fit four children at it (ranging in age from 3 to 10) with no trouble at all. I know it&rsquo;s marked for ages three and up, but my two-year-old can climb on and off the bench easily. It's actually still in our living room because it's still winter where we live but it looks sturdy and will blend in with our forest playground well. It is helpful to have two adults work together to assemble but it's not necessary. There are areas needing to be screwed together. Only issue, which we improvised, is that the seats get too hot for the kids to sit on, even with the umbrella shade. We put a towel down when the girls, twins ages 21mo and sis, a large 3 1/2 year old, are in bathing suits. Otherwise, great product, durable, nice looking, and we'll made umbrella. Plenty of room for friend, will hold the weight of six kids easily, won't tip, and even a 7 yo can sit at it decently.
