Elmo says cute alaphabet phrases when pressed. I do wish that when you lifted a letter it associated with the sound but they are independent of eachother and no sound is made by lifting letters. The case is difficult to open and he needs my assistance to do so. Honestly prefer it that way so he is supervised when playing with it otherwise my living space would be alphabet city. The letters are easy enough to lift out and place back into their designated spots. The one side of the bus has a space to spell out words. We are currently practicing spelling his name. I would recommend this product.</span>

This toy uses Elmo’s voice to help recognize letters. You open up the bus to reveal a magnet board on one side and alphabet letters on the other.
Behind each magnetic letter is something that begins with that letter, for example there is E for Elmo, H for horse and M for monkey.
Elmo tells you about each letter and then describes something beginning with that letter, example L is for lion and lions are big and they roar.
The toy also sings the alphabet song, it is so cute!</span>
