A cute shell shaped remote is provided and is useful because it works across the room. I like that my little one can also turn this on/off by pressing the pink star in the corner, while also developing an understanding of cause/effect. This does require two AAA batteries, which are not included and there is a convenient low battery indicator at the top with the other controls.</span>

It started off by making an awful rubbing noise when the sea animals go around, then it stopped going around or gets stuck. Such a shame, my son loves it however it's super frustrating for the price of the product poor quality it is and how fast it broke. Also drains batteries very quickly. We had the older version for our older son, quality was way better.</span>

The light comes on and the sound plays, but unfortunately none of the motor functions work. There is slight movement when turned onto motion settings in two of the sea creatures but then no movement at all, and the light bar at the top doesn’t scroll either. It appears to be a defective motor, with customer service only open on weekdays. Hoping the company will resolve this upon customer service email response.</span>

Second of all, who's brilliant idea was it to put a loud CHIME sound in when the battery is low?? Why not just turn off? It has a little indicater light that the battery is low, it then will start CHIMING LOUDLY. Multiple times its woken baby up because all the sudden the battery is low and it has to tell everyone about it. Poor design!</span>

Supposedly, ocean sounds mimic the sound they are used to in the womb and it’s very comforting to babies. Our son won’t go to sleep without it. It is amazing and would 10/10 recommend. That being said, I do have one complaint. It worked great for the first week or so, and then the batteries died, and after we replaced them the pieces inside stopped moving, which is a shame because that’s one of the best features of this sound machine. The noise is really all we need for our son to go to sleep, but it would be nice for him to have something to watch before he doses off.</span>

It says it doesn't come with batteries but my unopened never used one came with them. I went to replace them when they started dying and there was battery acid everywhere! They were green GP ones.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We discovered this in the unfortunate circumstance of my son staying over night in the hospital. He was so scared and just could not sleep. One of the nurses brought this in to see if it helped. It was the first time he stopped crying in hours. I couldn't believe it. Thank goodness we only needed to stay for one night. We are so fortunate, and I know there are many others who spend a lot more time there. Whether you buy this, or ask to borrow one, you won't be disappointed. We bought one the day we got out and he has loved it ever since. He is 2.5 years old now and this wonderful creation still puts him to sleep at night. It has held up so well and I love that it has a remote with it. The lights and sounds are soothing and not too stimulating. It's easy to clean and wipe down. The quality is fantastic. I cannot praise this enough and will be sure to donate to our local children's hospital when we are done with it to share this wonderful item with others.</span>
