Every piece is inspired, from Joey and Chandler's recliners that actually spin to the turkey head that fits over all the characters. Some pieces are very tiny even for little fingers, but everything fits into a peg that keeps it in place so they don't fall off easily. The foosball table really spins, it's too good! The set folds up ingeniously and includes so many settings, even the balcony and apartment hallway. My only disappointment was when I took it out of the packaging, one of the pieces of tape ripped off the fun Central Perk label on the front of the set. I loved Polly Pocket as a child and as a teen was obsessed with friends (like most 90&rsquo;s children) so this combines two of my loves! It comes in a really nicely presented box designed to mimic Central Perk and once you open it you can see it in all its glory. It has all 6 of the friends characters as well a few props linked to the series (like a guitar for Phoebe and the turkey for Joey to wear on his head, which were nice touches. Only slight gripe was they&rsquo;ve included a cake stand and lid for the counter but when it&rsquo;s in place it&rsquo;s impossible to close meaning I can just see it getting lost. Other than that I was a perfect wave of nostalgia. When I presented to her, she didn't know exactly what it was, as there was a cover over the contents of the set. Once I lifted the cover and she saw what the set was, she became very excited. I will say that having the cover over the set added to the excitement and anticipation. She was very excited about the entire set. I did have to give her some background about the show, explaining to her the character names and some of their charming characteristics. It wasn't hard to get the set out of the box or the pieces. That was a plus. She did have some problems putting the figures in the holes of the set. I had to show her how to push the figures down using the legs to set them in the holes. The set is darling, and when closed up resembles a tea cup. The overall set is charming and well put together. The ability to place figures into the moving holes was a very nice touch. I loved the fact that this set can close up and keep all of the pieces together.
