Adventure in the Mystery Mansion is great fun for the kids. I have a 3, 6, and 9 year old that all enjoy playing with it and all of it's features really do keep them busy for long stretches of time. However, I have a few warnings for the adults.... 1) This playset comes with a LOT of little tiny pieces. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and purchase a small box to keep it all in. We use a hard plastic pencil box. 2) I, personally, had a hard time putting this together. The pieces were difficult to snap together; but on the plus side, once it is all together, it does NOT come apart. 3) It only comes with 3 Scooby characters and 1 villain. This is only mentioned because my kids bring it up every single time they play with it. Adventure in The Mystery Mansion has super vibrant green and purple colors on the outside of the house, which gives it a spooky Halloween-like vibe. It includes 177 pieces and is a very detailed build, but has clear step-by-step instructions included. The details on front of the house are amazing, from the lights, to the shutters, and the boarded up windows, all just add to the spookiness of this mansion. Characters included in this playmobil set are: Fred, Daphne and Mr. Scooby Doo himself and of course a villian (vampire). Fred and Daphne both have 2 gripping hands and can hold the cool lanterns, flashlight and or magnifying glass. Scooby Doo has a hat with an inserted rubber piece that allows for the hat to fit snuggly over his ears and 1 gripping attachment on his front paw. The villian&rsquo;s head rotates from normal human to vampire, pretty cool for interactive and imaginative play. There are so many little accessories that play into the mystery and spookiness of this playmobil set. There are several traps on the inside: One at the bookshelf at the side of the staircase which flips around to the outside of the house; one on the stairs where the candlabra at the side of the stairs acts as a lever to retract the stairs in and out; a trap door upstairs which is controlled by the grennery on the outside of the house; the chandelier upstairs has a button which allows for it to release and fall on unsuspecting victims during play, and another feature upstairs is a metal grate at the top of the chimney, when pulled out releases bones and skulls from the fireplace on the first floor below. Draculas coffin lights up with clues that you insert into the side and plays cool sounds. The coolest feature has to be the app you can download to project different ghostly pictures into the house. There is so much detail in this mansion that you discover something new each time you play with it. My daughter absolutely loves this playmobil set.
