The Our Generation Awesome AcademyTM is ready to show you why "school" rhymes with "cool"! We're hitting the books and sharpening our pencils in this fully-stocked schoolroom playset for 18-inch dolls, and to be honest, we're having quite a few giggles along the way. Playing school has never been so much fun, and Awesome Academy has everything you need to build your very own world of learning!
"Brr-ing, brr-ring!" Ring the bell to let the students know when it's time for class - the bell really works! Walk around the classic red-brick walls to find the classroom. Take a seat at one of the two student desks. Open up the lid to get notebooks and writing tools. Use the attendance sheet to check off who is present or absent.
Wow, look at the time! The working clock will let you know when it's lunchtime. What did you pack for lunch today? We love crunchy veggies and our favorite sandwich that's cut out in a butterfly shape! Safety first! When it's time for a fire drill, just hit the fire alarm button in the hall. Don't forget - no running in the halls! OG kids love to study so many different subjects, it's hard to choose just one favorite! Do you have a favorite class? (Or maybe two? Or three?) It took a bit of work to assemble it so all of the items would work but WOW this has everything down to the last detail of a real classroom. They have taken turns being the teacher and student, they made lesson plans and practiced writing, reading, math and science. The fire alarm, clock etc. make real sounds, there is lighting on the chalkboard and there is even a tape dispenser, pencils work like they are real. The kids have used so much imagination playing school with this that they are learning and just think it is fun play. This is Huge and gives you plenty of room to move furniture around to play in the room and also outside of the room. Great for small minds to grow and learn to really appreciate school.</span>

I had ours shipped and it was well packaged and discreet so the item wasn’t easily given away as I was hiding it till it was ready to be revealed! Assembly is easy and unboxing is very easy. I love how the desks are made to open and can store items inside them. The cute cubbies for the doll’s accessories like book bags and more are such a cute addition to this! The clock and fire alarm both make noise but not too loud. The chalk board works and dry erase. My daughters use more than just their dolls while playing, sometimes they use other things like their stuffies to go to school. There is plenty of room for both my daughters to play and have fun without arguing about space or bumping into each other. If you have other sets or items you can make such a cute set up for it all so it’s one endless play session with many options! Absolutely recommend this set and it’s such a great price for how much you get with this!</span>

and put in fresh batteries and pushed the school bell. Didn't work. The fire alarm didn't work. The lights didn't work. Took it apart, immediately returned it and got a new set. Again, nothing worked. No lights, no sounds. This was extremely disappointing. I was so angry! And my granddaughter fought back tears. Still shaking my head over this.</span>

I followed the instructions, putting it together on a hard surface, pressing down harder on the walls and still didn't work. I exchanged it for a other and the SAME thing happened. Very disappointing as the set as a whole is adorable. Paying this much for a product that doesn't work properly just stinks! I gave it 2 stars only because the pieces in the set are cute!</span>

<span itemprop="description">My daughter received this for Christmas and I was frustrated at 1st when I assembled it and the electronics didn't come on but, I flipped the school upside down and applied more pressure at connection points, and then it worked fine once snapped in place better.
We love all of the little realistic details and moving parts with OG products, even down to the smallest item!
My only complaint is the fact that the OG dolls do not fit under the teachers desk in this set. Its surprising, considering how detail oriented everything is. If the dolls legs were articulated, then it might work but, the desk is just not deep enough or open under to accommodate the legs of the doll when sitting. So, my daughter just has the "teacher" standing by the boards.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this for my daughter’s birthday last spring and she plays with it all the time.
The set comes with so many accessories. The school supplies are so cute and detailed. My daughter loves the working clock, fire alarm, school bell and illuminated white board. There has been a lot of imaginative play with this set. She makes up lesson plans for her dolls, which reinforces what she’s learning at school. We couldn’t be happier with this purchase.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this 2020 of October and this is the most detailed set i've ever seen.
It is so detailed and has lots of small school supplies.
You can even fit the elementary class playset in there.
The only downside is that the school did not come with the pink lunchbox, rubber bands, butterfly picture, tissue box, sandwich, or any of the food items not including the apple.
When you build it, it seems that the features do not work when they do. You really need to push them in.
Overall this set is fantastic! All the tiny details are super cute!</span>

<span itemprop="description">My 8 year old saved her own money for a year with the goal of buying the Academy. She finally purchased it and is super excited.
Some of the plastic in the pieces were not molded correctly. (I.e. Calculater looks like it was busted apart and glued back together) The clock will not stay in place. The chalkboard lights not working. All other electronics do work. I followed the video and troubleshooting recommendations. Everything assembled properly. My daughter is still happy, but at the price, everything should work correctly.</span>
