The wheels are plastic so pick up a little less dirt than treaded shoe bottoms, but the material of the upper skate is smooth and can be easily wiped down with a damp cloth and soap if necessary (I use hand soap or dish soap, whatever is closer, and just a few drops). If you drop them in a mud puddle it would be fine to hose them down inside and out, with a hose outside or in a sink (and wash as needed). Wipe as dry as you can with a towel, then hang them upside-down to dry.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Most OG clothes are washable but these are a special case. The metal makes the skates really durable, and my niece has taken her bunny rollerskating everywhere and not one sign of anything cracking or loosening.
