He loves interactive toys, so the fact that the truck jumps over the lava and can be caught by the dragon is just brilliant. It's been endless hours of fun since it arrived. My son was up to the challenge though, and did get it to land after much persistence! The car is metal, which makes it a little harder to launch, but it is sturdy and should hold up to hitting the dragon and crashing a lot. The concept and design are cool. The dragon looks fearsome. The setup didn't take too long to figure out. Playing wasn't as exciting as the packaging made it out to be. Maybe my daughter is weak sauce, but she couldn't get the car to launch onto the tower which seems to be an all important objective she couldn't master. She did enjoy trying though and sending the car into the dragon's mouth was fun enough. I just don't see this toy being all it claims to be and all my daughter hopes for. My kids are 5 and almost 3 and they had a hard time pushing the thing down hard enough to get the car to launch well.
