She comes with a cool cassette tape that we thought was a purse before we opened the box, but it doesn&rsquo;t open at all or have a compartment. My daughter said it&rsquo;s her boom box and she still likes to have the doll wear it as she plays. The doll comes with a little pet owl that is really cute. It is supposed to perch on the dolls arm. It&rsquo;s does better if you remove the arm warmer, but it is still a little heavy for the dolls thin arm. She loves Monster High and when she saw the package her eyes opened wide and jaw dropped open in surprise and said &ldquo;I can&rsquo;t believe it!&rdquo; The doll was beautifully packaged, so it made her excitement to open it grow while watching it come out of the box. She started looking at the journal, but lost interest quickly once the owl and doll came out of the box. Then she played with the doll for nearly two hours before bedtime. Another time she played with the doll, I saw her playing camping and had her going with another Monster High friend. They had a bbq grill and chair and lounge chair outside the tent. They parked the car near the tent where they were camping. They went on hikes in the woods and gathered sticks for their firewood. She even dressed herself in costumes to visit her Monster High friends so she was a giant monster. Ghoulia fits right in at our Barbie mansion and can use Barbie&rsquo;s car also 😉 Her knees, hands and elbows all move which allows her to be posed however you like. Positives for the doll are the articulation of the body joints such as legs arms and hands. This makes the doll very pose-able. The doll also is sturdy and handles being tossed around and played with. The unique design of being teenage monsters vs standard dolls was appealing for the young one&rsquo;s imagination. The negatives for the doll would be the packaging. It is very difficult to free the doll from the packaging. Lots of tiny plastic ties are attached to doll and packaging. It took over 5 minutes to get the doll fully unpackaged and all small plastic ties cut off so it was ready for safe play. Unfortunately some hair was cut in the process. This along with the small ties made a small mess and had to vacuum the area. Another negative would be some of the small accessories such as sunglasses and hair band which do not stay on the doll during play and will end up just getting lost. Overall the doll is a nice toy as long as you get past the frustration of freeing it from packaging. Ghoulia comes with her owl, &ldquo;Sir Hoots a Lot&rdquo;, a cassette shaped purse, a readable diary, a red hairbrush, and of course her signature white cat eye glasses. Ghoulia&rsquo;s a beatiful doll and is a very close reproduction of the original. She&rsquo;s easily posable and, while she comes with a stand, my daughter was able to get her to stand on her own. I like that the doll comes with s stand so the doll can stand and be kept out when not being played with. The writing is in Spanish which we had fun looking up. I like that they included a Diary for us to share our private thoughts in. Inside is also a Skeleton or Rattle that the kids had fun playing with. I like how the back of the box tells us about Ghoulia and it reminds us she is a Zombie which we can study in our Homeschool Classes. My son thought it was neat that she is 16 the same age as he is.
