In fact it was probably the only thing that would get him to put down playing Minecraft on his device to actually plan. He loves the dragon breath. The lights and sounds also make the toy more fun. The wings move up and down as you were flying the ender dragon through the air. The tail is adjustable. Steve is pretty cool with moving legs, arms and neck. I wish that it was easier to hold the arrow and that it would stay in the hand better. The pumpkin head slides over the actual head which makes that change easy. The color change is pretty minimal on Steve&rsquo;s chest. Possibly the largest negative is how small the water reservoir is and how often you have to fill it. The color changing armor is pretty cool too. Son isn't tired of the toy yet and is very cautious not to run the mist generator dry as he doesn't want to damage it. I wish the Ender Dragon's neck moved because that would be much cooler-it could do poses and fight Steve more easily. I wish Steve had come with a sword and a helmet too (it's hard to see with a pumpkin on your head). I really liked the dragons breath and the sounds are just like how they are in the game which is cool.&quot; From my side: The dragon is huge! I liked the movement of the tail and wings, the wings are neat, how they seem to flap when moved up and down. My kiddo was surprised and pleased when the Steve body changed color after being hit by the mist. The water gets a little messy as it is easy to overfill. The sounds, light and (especially) the mist is very cool. We have discovered that the defeat sound is very inconsistent (Which annoys my kiddo who just wants to defeat the dragon a million times). We have pressed the button anywhere from 15 times to over a 100 to get him to make the death/defeat sound. (As I write this, I got it to defeat in 51 hits but my kiddo is next to me pressing it at over 105) and occasionally the buttons sort of stick. My nephew loves all things Minecraft-related, so I knew he would enjoy this toy. The dragon was much bigger than I first expected, but that&rsquo;s a good thing. It has a button that makes its eyes glow and makes sounds when pushed. There&rsquo;s also another cool feature: dragon breath. You simply add water and push a button and the dragon will breathe a mist that when it touches Steve, will change the color of his armor. The Steve figure comes with a headpiece and bow and arrow weapon. Also, the dragon&rsquo;s wings flap when you move it up and down, and its tail is adjustable as well. I feel that this toy is well made and will last. My only critique is that the water runs out quickly for making smoke, so you have to refill often. My son absolutely loves Minecraft and has so many of the figures and sets but I have to say this is the best Minecraft toy we have so far. The best and coolest feature and my son's favorite part is the dragon breath and the fact that the mist causes battle damage to show up on Steve. The water tank does have to be refilled pretty frequently but it's worth it for the amount of fun and imaginative play it adds to this toy! The dragon is very well made, the tail and legs all move so it can be put into different positions and the wings flap really easy when you move the dragon up and down which my son loved as well. The three different buttons cause different sounds and the dragon's eyes to light up which makes the this set even more fun and realistic for kids! We also really liked that the pumpkin head just slides over Steve's head and you don't actually have to take one head off to switch it for the other. The only thing my son said could have been better was if the dragon's neck was moveable too but that's a minor detail and does not take away from how much fun this toy is at all. It&rsquo;s easy to assemble and seems really sturdy. One issue we had was with the &ldquo;dragon breath&rdquo; function. It was fun when it worked, but it took us a little to figure it out. You&rsquo;re supposed to be able to have it mist around 10 times, then turn it off and refill it. For us, we had to turn it off and back on between each breath. It would only do one breath at a time (even with adequate water). Also, my kids kept holding the person on the dragon&rsquo;s back, so it would be nice to have a way to connect them. My kids (3 yr girl,6 and 8 yrs boys) have never owned a minecraft toy and for their first experience it was great. Assembly is really easy, just snap in the tail and wings. It requires 3AAA batteries (not included). The dragon itself is 22&quot; from snout to tail and 21&quot; wingspan. It has an on and off button which is always great and 3 button functions(1st button: activate the dragon's breath opens the dragon's mouth with roar and lights up the eyes, 2nd button: dragon's roar and lights up eyes, 3rd button: light and sound.) The wings flap up and down manually when the dragon is moved up and down and the tail has 3 sections where it can bend. The head can also be turned side to side at the base of the neck and the legs can also move. On top of the dragon's head you can use the included dropper to add water for the dragon's breath. It also comes with a Steve figure doll (3.5&quot;) that changes color when it is hit with the dragon's breath, a helmet and a bow and arrow. My kids had a blast making Steve's chest change color (from white to red) using the dragon's breath. They also loved making the dragon fly around everywhere, attacking everything in sight with the dragon's breath. The steam will leave a little bit of water residue, but very minimal. The dragon will only take in very little water which was misleading by the big dropper that is included. First time I filled half of the dropper and it overflowed, it only takes in about 1/2 tsp of water but it does create a nice amount of steam. Just have water available next to you for constant refill. The color changing paint also peeled off a little after a whole day of attacks. The Steve doll is really great with bendable arms and legs and head but the bow and arrow would constantly fall off his hands. I was pleasantly surprised by how big it was. My 7 year old only had a little trouble understanding how to attach the wings but otherwise was able to assemble the dragon on her own. She filled the water tank and was super excited when real smoke was emitted from the dragons mouth. All my kids enjoyed making the dragon blow smoke. We really liked how the dragons eyes lit up so they could also play when it was dark. I liked that it came with a person as my daughter did not have any characters of her own prior. My kids loved the different sounds the dragon made also. They loved flying it around the house and blowing smoke and making it roar at others. I would recommend this toy for ages 5 and up as it is a good sized toy to hold.
