The packaging consisted of a simple cardboard sheath to hang on a store peg. You get what you see. A good quality replica Minecraft sword that will satisfy young Minecraft fans. The sword is well constrcted and is hard plastic. I was partially expecting something of foam, so this is definitely for an older child who will know better than to use it as a potential weapon. That being said, my six year old enjoyed role playing with it for a bit, but now its more decoration in her room. Sword resembles the Diamond Color found in the game to a tee and is quite sturdy. It has been played with in a rough manner and shows no signs of wear and tear. A quality product. My 9 year old loves the sword and has the Netherite pick axe as well. Mattel should produce the actual different types of mineral blocks to accompany these tools as my son was making things to break down. It has no lights or sounds is merely role/imaginative play. Be careful with younger siblings because my kiddos played sword fights and it does hit hard! While he&rsquo;s a huge Minecraft fan and spends lots of time online playing the game, he&rsquo;s only 9 and needs to run around and use his imagination. Well this sword does the trick. It&rsquo;s his favorite toy and he spends so much time acting out and role playing now that he has this sword. This is a must have for any young Minecraft fan.
