It&rsquo;s small enough to be carried around but big enough that things stay put and little hands ( in this case my sons) were able to play inside. There are so many surprises in this set and the excitement when each are found and activated was the best. The castle itself has a magic area which pops it open, the mixing&rsquo;s wings activate, the bed covers up the mixling and the door to the castle spins. The magic ball is also cute and spins when the mixling stands on it. The magic ball gives four answers: Yes, No, Maybe and Lucky. The castle appears to be pretty sturdy even with a little rough and tough play. My only suggestion is to be able to fold the castle up with the items inside, but the bed is too wide to do that. The storage would be nice. I decided to get her the castle set for her birthday because she loves playing pretend with little figurines. This set did not disappoint! She has gotten hours of play value out of it already! I think there is enough interaction she can do with the wand and various accessories. At the same time, I love it because there are only 7 separate pieces. When toys have too many tiny pieces they tend to get lost instantly and we no longer have a complete set. Maybe my one gripe is that the instructions could be a little more clear when it comes to opening and closing the castle. We ended up figuring it out but it took a while to get there. Overall I would recommend! She loves all things magic. She has spent hours enjoying this. She loves all the extra parts to it too. The actual castle is built well and sturdy. It&rsquo;s not too big either but the right size for child&rsquo;s play. The parts aren&rsquo;t too small either so nothing is a choking risk. The colours are lovely and bright too which definitely helps to keep the focus from little ones. This is a great toy for imagination play and role play. It&rsquo;s great that there are others in the collection that you can build on too.
