This is a good product in theory. Once assembled the truck pulls back to go smash and crash into the target. It contains 151 pieces with an instruction guide included. While it was age appropriate he needed a lot of guidance to build. Once completed he was able to smash and put back the few pieces that would fall apart without assistance . It&rsquo;s also fun because it will combine with other MEGA Hotwheel kits and other brand blocks!! He loves anything Hot Wheels. The Hot Wheels Monster Truck Demo Derby Extreme Trick Course comes with 151 pieces. He was able to build the truck and the ramp barrier on his own. It's a pull back, which makes the car drive on it's own across the floor and up the ramp. When it hits the barriers, the truck can flip off and crash. Then a few pieces fall off and you build again. He had a lot of fun building the truck. My only complaint is that some pieces were a little hard to snap in, so it will need an adult&rsquo;s help. Once my son was finished building, he showed me that when you press a button, some pieces flew out, which he enjoyed very much. It is also cool that you can pull the truck back and it moves. Some of the block pieces were not easy to connect. I had to help my son with a lot of them. Once it was built, he had a hard time trying to line up the monster truck to crash into the ramp and barrier. The rubber pieces that connect to the bottom of the ramp would not stay on. Every time the ramp was moved, they would fall off. The middle smiley face wouldn't stay upright, it kept falling forward.
