They were totally engrossed. They enjoyed watching the beaker creatures fuzz and working out how to use the pumps to move water into the main chamber. Their play turned them into mad scientists. My son couldn't wait to get it out of the box and was so excited to get started. It's unlike any other toy he's ever had and I like that the collectible toy aspect to Beaker Creatures also adds an educational twist. We've bought more Reactor Pods since our initial set because it's just such a brilliant and engaging activity. The creatures are great little toys (most children love collecting little toys) and the experiment is a great way to teach the child about science. It's really easy to put together and the instructions are easy to understand. The bright colours make it fun and eye catching. My 7 year old had such a great time doing it and loved watching it froth.
