I was right -- they love the idea of pushing around a vacuum and "helping" mom clean up. Unfortunately, the LeapFrog Pick UP & Count Vacuum has some trouble picking up the counters, which frustrates them (and me, because I wind up having to pick them up). Fortunately, a few days in the closet and mysteriously losing the little dust bunnies has made it into a fun toy that they can enjoy. The lights, colors, sounds and toys are all designed to grab their attention and it does that quite nicely.
The toy vacuum is more durable than expected and has not failed despite the boys fighting over it. The novelty of it hasn't seemed to diminish much either, which I did not expect. I might have to get another one so they can both vacuum at the same time.</span>

It teaches him how to count and to learn his colors. With 3 play modes of learning and 6 games, it keeps children engaged. This is a very well constructed toy. All the parts are geared towards a child aged 2 years and up. The colors are bright and cheerful. It is easy to push and the sounds are crisp and clear. This is a very good toy for our younger children. Helping them to learn to count and recognize colors All the discs get stored in a chamber, making clean up easy. I highly recommend this toy!</span>

She throws the color specs of dirt on the floor and the vacuum picks them up. The vacuum is teaching her to count and teaching her colors. This is a great toy that is very sturdy. It takes 4 AA batteries. The handle tilts to different heights so it can grow with your child. All the pieces are stored inside the vacuum so it’s easy to clean up and put away. My daughter now loves to vacuum while I am vacuuming. Absolutely a great buy!!</span>

This LeapFrog Pick Up & Count Vacuum has been a perfect way to distract him while I use the real vacuum. He feels like he is helping a d I don’t have to worry about my curtains getting sucked up! It is super basic assembly, just click a few things together. The colors and counting are an added bonus. I also LOVE the volume control settings as well as an option to turn it off because we all know how much we love toys that make noise!!!</span>
