<span itemprop="description">I’m not really in the the cars, but I bought the 007 Austin Martin and found it to be cool and very detailed. So, I had no plans on building the Bugatti, Porsche GT3 or others do to price. I saw this and thought it was well worth the cost and looks cool. This is by no means a small build and was well worth it. If you don’t want the huge cost of the Orange GT3 or the Bugatti buy this one instead it’s well worth it.</span>

These models have tremendous detail in the engine and transmission bay and yet when the car is complete, the cool bits are hidden from view. There was effort in Porsche 911 RSR to maximize the aspects you can see. Always impressed that every one of the 1580 pieces supplied has a purpose and there is no excess or waste.

Personally, I far more enjoy the building as opposed to the knolling. Different strokes, I suppose.</span>

J’annonce d’emblée, si vous espérez un set équivalent, en terme de précision, à la Bugatti ou à la GT3, mais à moindre frais, il est préférable que vous redonniez un coup d’accélérateur et passiez votre chemin. Si le prix fixé est diminué de moitié par rapport aux modèles précités, cela s’explique par la disparition d’un certain nombre de composants et de détails. En effet, une division du prix implique un allègement du poids et un arrêt définitif au stand pour certains morceaux trop volumineux vu la taille plus modeste du set. Ceci dit, ne vous imaginez par la taille d'une speed champion ou d'une DB5 : Elle annonce quand même 50 cm de long cette Porsche.
Forcément, l’Élément, avec une majuscule, qui restera au garage, sur cette RSR, c’est la boite de vitesses. La taille des deux hypercars est en partie conditionnée par cette assemblage maître. Sans surprise, donc, la résultante est qu’un modèle occupant un volume même à peine plus condensé ne pourra malheureusement pas s’encombrer d’un sous-ensemble d’engrenages et de pignons. La boite entraîne de facto dans sa chute les palettes au volant. Personnellement, le retrait de ces palettes n’est pas ce qui me chagrine le plus. À mes yeux, ce n’est même carrément pas une perte : je n’ai aimé aucune des deux versions, que ce soit celle de la GT3 ou celle de la Bugatti. Les élastiques, c’est pas pratique. Toutefois, la contrepartie, c’est que même factices, un levier de vitesse, un frein à un main et des palettes auraient été les bienvenus. Après tout, on a bien vu apparaître LE détail incongru que personne n’attendait : l’essuie-glace qui ne balaye pas et trône narquois et raide comme un piquet en plein milieu du pare-brise!
Dans cet effort de réduction de la taille et du poids, vous perdrez également au passage certains éléments de finition tels que les étriers de freins, des carénages et assemblages sur le flat-six. Un fauteuil baquet se présente mais bien plus triste. Le cockpit lui-même perd en précision, malgré de bonnes idées. L’arceau gris à l’intérieur encadrant la console centrale, est très bien pensé, mais pas assez exploité. Oui, cette perte de précision est d’autant plus regrettable que nous n’étions plus à trois autocollants près. Vous comprendrez pourquoi plus loin (y en a un que ça fera marrer quand il me lira !) L’ordinateur côté passager (pas de second baquet, c’est une voiture de course !) sonne comme un recours à la facilité avec ses trois pauvres tuiles de 2*2 ornées d’autocollants (encore eux !)
Bon on enlève, on enlève, c’est bien joli d’enlever des morceaux, mais que reste-t-il finalement ? Car oui, au final, hormis la direction et le moteur et les suspensions, vous n’aurez pas tellement de fonctionnalités supplémentaires. Après, il ne faut pas non plus se montrer trop sectaire : la LMP verte et blanche ouvrait ses portes en élytre avec un système de molette, c’était peut-être un peu trop. Des charnières suffisent.
Certains détails très bien pensés jalonnent quand même ce parcours de 500 étapes, comme les bulles de cockpit utilisées pour assembler les phares à l’avant, plus esthétique que sur sa grande sœur, ou encore les crémaillères de grue pour définir le bouclier avant. L’utilisation des flexibles est également bien vue et donne une touche finale appréciable. Très sincèrement certains assemblages sont de très bons choix esthétiques. On applaudira, la custode arrière qui se soulève pour accéder au Flat 6. Élément qui fait cruellement défaut sur la Chiron qui, pourtant, comporte le double de pièces (là aussi, le choix de R&D sentait bon la facilité !) Une très belle mention à l’extracteur arrière qui est vraiment bien pensé et donne cet aspect « monstrueux » à cette voiture. J’enfonce le clou, aller jusqu’à rajouter des éléments sous le véhicule pour compléter l’extracteur, ça, ça n’existait pas encore ! Dans cette logique, il aurait vraiment été bienvenu et élégant voire carrément excellent de lui faire un fond plat à c’te charrette ! Je m’apaise, j’ai dit qu’il ne fallait pas être sectaire ! Pour les petites fioritures, Vous aurez également le loisir de bouger les rétroviseurs de haut en bas ou de jouer avec les poignées de portes, qui nouveau rappel sont simplement représentées par des stickers sur une Chiron. Ce serait d’ailleurs sympa que pour une prochaine hypercar, Lego essaye de mettre en place un système d’ouverture de porte par poignées. (C’est au cas où ils me lisent !)
L’assemblage des arceaux, pièces de châssis, et autres barres, contribuent à rigidifier l’ensemble de la structure du véhicule, la rendant, malgré un nombre de pièces plus faible que la GT3, effectivement plus rigide que celle-ci. C’est appréciable quand il faut manipuler l’engin de ne pas avoir peur de le casser. Le rendu final de cette voiture offre un beau véhicule qu’on expose surtout pour sa carrosserie et le détail de ses dessins plutôt que pour sa mécanique réelle. Après tout, au Mans, pendant la célèbre course, Porsche expose des modèles de compétition avec juste un châssis et une carrosserie, alors pourquoi ne pas faire pareil en Lego et à la maison.
Il est d’ailleurs une chose que vous pourrez faire à l’instar du personnel technique de cette grande écurie de course automobile qu’est Porsche : coller des stickers ! Nous serions aux États-Unis, le 911 prendrait tout son sens ! 52 autocollants ! Au secours ! La décompensation, autrement appelée « pétage de plombs » est complète ! Chacun sa marotte, la mienne c’est tacler mon fabricant préféré sur les autocollants ! Je remets un peu de carburant dans la machine à sarcasme pour un nouveau petit tour de piste. Avec 52 autocollants, vous pouvez en coller un par semaine si ça vous tente. Malheureusement pour le mois de décembre, ça ne vous donnera pas de calendrier de l’avent ! Mais bon avant que mon humour ne fasse partir cette critique en tête à queue : ne cédez pas à la tentation de ne pas les coller, le rendu serait triste vu la quantité ! Ces autocollants tout aussi horripilant qu’ils puissent être contribuent à la fidélité du modèle. Une fois encore ne soyons pas sectaire. Ces autocollants ne font pas 2m² de surface et un peu de patience n’a jamais tué personne.
Je range mon fusil et pour une fois porte un œil conciliant sur la question des autocollants pourtant en surnombre caractérisé. Le véritable regret que j’ai à l’égard de ceux-ci, sera le très léger décalage de tons entre leur blanc et celui des pièces. Mais bon, tout le monde ne regarde pas ses Lego avec une frontale sur la tête. Là encore ne soyons pas réducteurs.
D’ailleurs en parlant d’affichage, d’esthétique et autres éléments graphiques, une petite histoire de la 911 RSR dans la notice de montage aurait la bienvenue, même si ce n’est pas ce qui intéresse le plus les monteurs !
Ultime point, ne faisant pas réellement partie de la construction : n’étant pas un habitué des Technic, je ne connais pas trop la politique de Lego sur le sujet, mais en tout cas, pour ce modèle de Technic très précisément, les sachets n’étaient pas numérotés ! Résultat : plusieurs boites pour ouvrir tous les sacs en même temps. Je n’avais pas goûté à cette méthode de puis mon adolescence ! J’avais également oublié à quel point c’était casse-pied.
Finalement, malgré certains points qui sonneraient comme autant d’arguments décourageants pour ses potentiels acquéreurs, cette 911 RSR affiche des qualités dont elle n’a vraiment pas à rougir. À commencer par ses dimensions, approximativement 50*18*13. De très belles dimensions qui la rendent juste un peu plus petite que ses fières devancières, beaucoup plus onéreuses. Cette RSR représente un excellent choix pour qui aime la Porsche et ne souhaite pas investir d’avantage dans l’achat d’une GT3, ou habite à un endroit où elle n’est d’ores et déjà plus disponible. Elle est également un choix graphique intelligent pour qui souhaite plus un set d’exposition qu’un réel défi de montage. Effectivement une fois finie, c’est une très belle pièce qui trouvera sans problème sa place dans une collection de véhicules de course de notre fabricant préféré.

J’apprécie la prise de risque des phares avant avec les globes. De face elle est très réussie ! L'arrière peine un peu je trouve surtout au niveau des phares et des tubes noirs. Il y a beaucoup de stickers et je déteste les mettre c'est pourquoi même sans, la voiture à un charme ! J'ai même était tenté de mettre les Stickers PORSCHE sur l'aileron et le haut du pare-brise qui donne un bon rendu.
Il y a peu de fonctionnalité, une boîte de vitesses même avec 4 vitesses (sans prendre en compte le réalisme bien sûr) aurais permis aux débutants de découvrir les rouages possibles. Le Flat 6 tournes bien, celui-ci est bien plus visible et accessible que la 42056. Je vais pas parler de la direction le commentaire précédent en parle déjà et je suis du même avis.
En résumé, je recommande ce set qui est beau mais peu technique.</span>

A few things to be aware of is that the bags are not numbered like a lot of more recent kits, so it is dump out nearly 1600 pieces and sort through them (keep in mind for kids), and the kit does feel like a lot of the kits from 5 years ago that were quickly put together to sell. It looks great on the shelf, but just fyi.</span>

<span itemprop="description">For those looking for something smaller than the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, this set is for you. The color scheme that this set comes with looks really good and is a definite must have for collectors. The only drawback to this set in my opinion is the headlight pieces as they are a bit bulky in comparison to the rest of the vehicle, however, it is still a well thought out piece and looks good on display. It is worth noting that this set does come with quite a large amount of stickers. If you have trouble with stickers, you might need someone to help put them on. For example, the wing itself is a set of three stickers and they need to be aligned properly for the text to flow smoothly. In conclusion, it isn't surprising to see this set already on backorder. The price tag is definitely less expensive than the GT3 RS, but with that being said, the RSR is substantially smaller in size... and I would argue that to be a good thing.</span>

It doesn't have the drivetrain ... but then I don't really see the point of it anyway as you can't see it or make use of it! The biggest problems for me are that it just doesn't seem to be as well put together as the GT3 e.g. the doors are wobbly and don't stay closed. But the worst thing, especially when put side-by-side with the GT3, is the stupidly small wheels, they're ridiculously small (about 3/4 the size of the GT3 model even though the models are of a similar size) meaning there are large gaps in the wheel arch. Rather disappointed now that I've finished it. If you want a Lego Porsche, spend the extra and get the GT3.</span>

Its a great looking kit and is very faithful to the real car.</span>

A mon gout:
- Les roues sont trop petite sur ce modèle, trop de jour entre les roues et les ailes.
- Pas de roue dentelée sur l’extérieur en plus du volant pour tourner la direction
- Petit défaut de plan page 174; pièce à préparer pour le montage ne corresponds pas à celle qu'il faut monter (la sérigraphie sur la pièce n'est pas la bonne)
- Petit défaut de plan page 211; les cercles d'indication d'assemblage ne sont pas sur les bons "pin"

<span itemprop="description">this is a great model if you want a challenge. it requires a lot of dedication and is one of the more lengthy processes with a great finish. It is similar to the relatives that are the porsche bugatti and rally car but it lacks the gear box and lighting systems. this isn't something i'm sad about because the price and difficulty were good enough for me. the roof is quite flimsy, only properly attached with some piping and one support in the rear. this can be seen as a flaw but personally, i want to see the engine that i screwed up on with my friend multiple times function so a removable roof helps. the dash board gets in the way of the steering wheel mechanisms which i find slightly annoying but that doesn't matter too much.
from what i can tell, it looks fairly easy to motorise and has great potential for it with plenty of unused space just under the trunk which is meant for seeing the engine. you may need to be a bit more skilled to incorporate the steering motor as it has to be installed either during manufacturing, or after removing the numerous panels which could be easy if using the instructions to strategically do so. personally, i haven't because the motors cost a butt tonne just for being called lego.
the only real flaws are the fact that you can't pick it up too well because of the roof and steering is really annoying because the wheel is badly attached and i once pulled it off. you essentially should either steer uncomfortably with the steering wheel that falls off, try moving the actual wheels as they move, motorise it, or just have it as a demo. as for the roof... im not sure. there is also one problem that drives me up the wall. im not sure if its my fault but when i reverse the car, the wheels rub against the frame around it making it so annoying to use. i really want to think that it's just me because it ruins a perfectly good design.
over all, it is a good model and worth the money especially if you have a remote controlled vehicle as well (you could switch and swap parts) but not too good for playing with after. but hey. i get technics for a challenge, the mechanism and obviously the looks. if it doesn't have these then i wouldn't have bought it.</span>
