I really enjoyed the way all the intricate parts fit together, from the scissor doors, to the spoiler, and the side panels. My last technic build was the bugatti veryon, and I have to say this build was more engaging and interesting (not that the bugatti wasn't interesting it was a ton of fun to build). The design alone of the different segments for this kit was fascinating, especially how the scissor doors, gearbox, spoiler, engine and panels all fit together. It felt less like putting 800 black connecting pins together and more like engineering. This car looks amazing next to my bugatti and porsche as well! It looks nice from all angles. My only dissatisfaction with this set is many of the pieces are different colors, almost half of the external green pieces are different shades. Kept me entertained for days doing a little bit at a time. I decided to buy this as a Christmas present for myself and it has been the best self gift I have ever gotten myself. From the packaging to the actual pieces used, this is fantastic. The box has not much detail of the what is inside, I.e. no pictures of the car but when you open the box, wow it took my breath away. The design kept me looking at it in awe and I slowly took out the boxes to see what was in them. The curves on this car are absolutely amazing and every piece has been done in such precision to deliver a beautiful vision of the Lamborghini. I loved the little details such as the brake pads for one where the red shows through the rims on the tyres which are realistic themselves. Cannot express the fun I had in building this, now the only thing I need to figure out is where will I display it as seems to good too be sitting in some box or some room where no one can see the true beauty of this build. This is probably the coolest Lego set I have ever gotten, cuz, I mean, if a Lamborghini isn't cool, then what is? I have built other 16+ or 18+ Lego sets before, and I gotta say, building them is a bit tough, but i do it fairly successfully, and this Lambo was no exception. There were a couple little inconveniences when building this, one was a missing piece, and one was a gear in the drivetrain I put in the wrong place, and had to backtrack about 60 steps. For some reason, I am just amused with the buttons right behind the roof that, when pushed, open the upward opening doors. I love those doors. I have heard complaints about this build that on the spoiler there were slightly different shades of green, but I don't really have it on mine. Oh and by the way, this is the most expensive, most pieces, biggest, and most advanced Lego car set there is right now. It feels special to have this set. But there are just several issues with it that prevents me from recommending it. First of all the set would look so much better if Lego had just not been cheap and provided green technic pins instead of the standard long blue ones which unfortunately ruin the look. Also once again there were pieces missing which would of stopped the building process normally (luckily I have a lot of spares). It&rsquo;s just not good for a premium and expensive set like this to be missing parts which you need to carry on the build. Yes you can request missing parts on the website but then you will be waiting at least a week for them to arrive so you can carry on building and it&rsquo;s seems to be becoming more and more frequent with Lego sets. Finally the iconic Lamborghini scissor doors work great but unfortunately look awful when closed which is such a shame for a display set. I don't even particularly like Lamborghinis. But when I saw this build, something about it - possibly the color - set something off and I had to have it. It looks so exotic and interesting. As my first Technic supercar, I knew this build would be different. It was. The packaging alone was an experience. The arrangement was a bit abstract, but once you get over the initial surprise it makes sense, and even becomes part of the experience. And make no mistake - this is more than a lego set, it's an experience. I expected this to be my most challenging build, and it was by far. The instructions are beautiful, complex, detailed, and at times, confusing. It's hard for me to imagine how anyone could even create instructions on assembling something like this. But Lego succeeded, and in the end you have something you'd be completely incapable of assembling otherwise. They may not be perfect, but they'll get you there if you're patient, careful and attentive. The build took me about 8 days to complete, working with moderate haste for 1-2 hours each night. I am sure it could be done faster. The effort that will invariably go into the build is superseded only by the absolute awe after every dozen or so steps at what had just been assembled. A transmission with gears that attach to a working shifter paddle - that actually interact with the rest of the drivetrain. Batwing doors, an engine with pistons that fire as the model rolls. It's incredible - it really is. And the looks after the fact - sure, some of the paint isn't 100% matched but OH MY this model is beautiful! As someone who has owned a bright green car before and had to repair the body (2011 Synergy Green Camaro), I can tell you how unforgiving matching paint on parts made of different material can be - if possible at all. In a way, the mismatch made the build feel more authentic to me having experienced this. And honestly, the color is one of the signature visual pieces of this build and gives it an incredible exotic character. Along with the accents of the lights, the rims, and the other details, it's looks are enhanced to orbital levels. The only downfall is the discolouration between some of the inner parts to the exterior green and the little plague that comes with it would've been much better if it displayed engine specifications, etc; besides that... I honestly couldn't recommend this more to anyone interested in more advanced LEGO sets! As well as all this, the final touch to the owners only area is a wonderful idea, made me feel a lot more inclusive and proud to have gotten the set. By that I mean there is a lot 180-360 turns and back and forth. The building experience was not cohesive to say the least. Besides the obvious and much complained color difference, I also experienced missing pieces. I had to picked parts from later bags to move forward until I couldn&rsquo;t anymore, so I waited 7 days for missing parts to arrive. Unfortunately shortly after I had another part missing in beg 5, so I had to wait another 7 days&hellip;&hellip;&hellip; The highlight of the build was the designer captured shape of the vehicle very well. I did not want to take the risk of having a bad copy and so I waited until October 2021 before finally purchasing it. I am happy to report that my copy did not suffer any of the issues. I had no missing parts and the lime green pieces did not have any color mismatch. The build itself was pretty challenging, especially when attaching subassemblies to the main vehicle body. It can be difficult to figure out exactly where the attachment points are, so take your time. One minor complaint I had was the tires. The tires were squeezed into the box and were completely out of shape (literally). Definitely the most involved and complex build to date. If you don&rsquo;t pay close attention to the instructions and miss a step or piece you are doomed. Most of the car is buried under it&rsquo;s beautiful body work so any failure to follow directions for mechanical features like the transmission can lead to having to take apart a lot of the model. The build itself was great. I enjoyed building up the framework of the car then shifting into the body work. It felt like two separate builds yet it created one very nice model instead. The body work is beautiful and really shouts Lamborghini, but the color is definitely the let down of the model. I really liked the lime green color for this car, as it seemed fitting for this build but the multiple shades of green is somewhat disappointing. There are some elements that are noticeably more yellow than others and this is really visible in the rear spoiler. I like how this model allows the builder to see some of the detailed/complex components of this build. There is a window underneath the model that shows off the transmission and the rear panel of the vehicle is removable to reveal the detailed v12 fake engine. This build is very clearly a model, and is not intended to be used for play. There is no hand of god steering for playing and the price is also not any suggestion of a toy. It's a magnificent model. Challenging to build, but the good kind of challenging. The videos on the LEGO website are great bonus and provide wonderful insight into the development process. I might need to splurge on the Bugatti next. I've read reviews here ripping shreds off the instructions for it's &quot;road blocks&quot;, &quot;hiccups&quot; and things appearing/changing &quot;magically.&quot; Wow. Not my experience at all! Most of the problems cited are essentially trivial typos (like the infamous #404 &quot;5 becomes 15 issue&quot; or an arrow that points to the wrong place like in step #566). Heck. In most cases, it's simple -- if not intuitive -- to figure out what needs to be done. Five or six typos in 1083 steps and probably triple the number of diagrams: that's an incredibly low error rate! In fact, I experienced *none* of the road blocks cited by some of the &quot;master builders&quot; here; I didn't even notice a couple of the typos, and this is my first ever LEGO Technic model. That should speak for itself. Missing parts? Nope. Parts in the wrong box? Nope. Mismatched colours? Nope. This is a high quality product consistent with what I've come to expect from a company like LEGO. Sure, purists might point to some engineering imperfections in the design, but hey, this is LEGO not an actual Lamborghini! The developers have done an amazing job. My mind boggles at how they came up with it.
