<span itemprop="name">Challenging build for 9-year-old but great fun</span>
<span itemprop="description">This set allowed my son to imagine life when controllers had to be connected to devices to work. He thinks the whole low-tech era was cool thanks to this build. The only tricky part is the insertion/removal of the cartridge - the return mechanism is finicky and prone to failure (little pieces coming loose). My son has built 500+ sets and found this aspect very frustrating. Luckily, I have survived 500+ builds (which equals thousands of tears) and stepped into secure everything by back tracking through the manual. Overall, the set is a very satisfying build and is now proudly displayed in his room.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I really enjoyed building this set. The fact that it is interactive makes it that much more fun. Opening the console door, inserting the cartridge and pushing down to lock it in…it takes you right back to the 80s. The moving screen is not too difficult to assemble due to the way the instructions are presented. Well done on that! The fact that the Mario figure seems to be moving through the screen was very clever. My only suggestions: it should have included a Luigi figure as well as the Mario figure and two controllers would have been nice. Highly recommended for the build, nostalgia, playability and it makes an excellent display.</span>

I had heard the set was due to be discontinued this year, so I jumped at the chance to get one, when I saw it was in stock once again. This was probably one of the more challenging builds for both of us, but every second was so worth it! The intricacies of the entire set were incredible, and the finished result (which took 2 days to complete), is so amazing! I would recommend this set to anyone who wants it. Definitely grab it while you still can! Its worth the price, and gave both me and my partner hours of fun spent together! <3</span>

<span itemprop="description">So I bought this set around Christmas time during COVID because of the Super Nintendo nostalgia.
Since I had never had a Lego build set before, didn't realize I had just bought what would become a quick hobby and love for me.
Of the various sets that I now have, 3 years later, this is still one of the very best builds. So much so that I took it down backwards, separating the pieces back into numbered bags, just so I could rebuild it again.
As others have mentioned, the build for the inside of the Nintendo itself varies so much with the array of different color blocks utilized, that it never gets boring, along with the fact that I'm literally building the cartridge mechanism.
I've received SO many compliments on the set because most people think it's an actual Super Nintendo and then are in absolute awe once they realize that it's actually made of Legos.
I now have multiple other sets I've completed and/or waiting to be completed, and by far, this one, my first one, is still my absolute favorite.</span>
