Took about 10 hours to put together, and it never became boring due to interesting build techniques and variability of each section. People who complain about pieces not being secure didn&rsquo;t build correctly &mdash; the ship is sturdy and can be picked up from various angles. Mini figure selection is irrelevant for a UCS set in my opinion, so just the clone and Windu is fine. If all or even occasional Lego sets were of the quality of this one, there would be at least 2 fewer AFOL&rsquo;s in the world. The set simply has far too many insecure connections for its complexity - leaving recurrent sections falling off, or not adequately connecting in the first place. Given it&rsquo;s heft and awkward placements of such sections, this means awkward, frustrating, and nearly impossible efforts to rebuild those sections. AFter dozens of such efforts, we actually decided it was too aggravating and simply gave up. I&rsquo;ve spent more for some sets, less for others, but never had such a low-value experience. The Gunship is one of my all-time favorite ships. The only other ship that comes close is an ARC-170. I am a huge fan of not only the clone wars but Episode 2 where this ship made its debut. It is beautiful on display. However, this is not a playset, and please don't expect it to be. This is for collectors who enjoy the design and look of the ship. I hope that one day they will re-release a playset version of this set. It also looks AMAZING, so if you have small children, they're probably going to want to play with it. But again, unlike the A-Wing, it doesn't hold up well. Removing the cockpit is tricky, the gun bubbles structure are prone to falling apart, the pew pew lasers pop out easily, the sliding doors at the back aren't well-secured (I kept expecting a step to add some locking mechanism). The plates under the wings are attached to the body well, but not to themselves, and attaching the under-wing covers may see them pop off (repeatedly). The top-rockets(?) are a bit tricky to connect. It's also HEAVY, but I suppose that's to be expected. And it seems like this is a common complaint, but 2 minifigures seems light - I'd loved to have seen a few more. With that said, there were times I genuinely laughed out loud at some of the neat build techniques and the way things came together and again, the thing looks so incredibly impressive when it's complete.
