It was hard to come by at retail price but with persistence it can be done. When compared to Cloud City or Hoth they don&rsquo;t even come close to the Cantina. I would even say this surpasses the Death Star due to the fact that you can&rsquo;t open and close up the Death Star for display/playability. The build itself goes very smoothly with each bag revealing a new minifig and more details. The instruction booklet has some fun info about the location and characters throughout the build. The minifig selection is awesome but I would have loved to have had arm prints on these. There are quite a few stickers which is a bit of a shame but the majority of them aren&rsquo;t for the Cantina itself. The sheer size of this set may surprise you when fully built. The roof pieces are easy to remove for access to the interior and really add to the look making it feel complete. I urge Lego to keep the big Star Wars playsets coming. I really appreciate going the extra mile to really make it feel lived in by adding side buildings so it can truly capture the feel of not only the cantina but Tatooine itself. From a building aspect it's all very playable and customizable while still remaining very sturdy and it's very easy to remove a section and add it back to the model at will which I feel strikes a perfect balance of playability for kids but still is a challenging build and a cool display for collectors. If I was to throw in a nitpick I would say that for a set of this price range and scarcity it would have been nice if even some of the more common figures got some sort of upgrade for example I think Greedo was a great opportunity for arm printing. Yes, price is high but once you finish the set you end up with a beautiful mini town that captures the movie feel better that any other toys. So here are the + and - : The design is genius as the bar completely opens and offers fun elements like the back door, Greedo &amp; Solo &ldquo;got shot&rdquo; seats, the removable roofs. The figurines are gorgeous, exciting and replicate to perfection the Cantina atmosphere (although I would have loved one of the cosmonauts included as they are very weird and unique to the Cantina and maybe another R2 unit for the outside part) I disagree with some reviews saying the outside part and other buildings are disappointing. Once you completely open the bar, the back walls are very detailed and fun, with a &ldquo;junkyard&rdquo; effect plus that secret door. The extra buildings are different so they give a sense of variety and textures. But the BIG plus for me are those familiar mini towers that you can move around. They are so accurate and immediately enhance the Mos Eisley buildings. The 2 vehicules are very cool particularly if you add Luke&rsquo;s Landspeeder. You can also complete the set with Obi Wan&rsquo;s hut and get some extra Jawas &amp; Tusken Raiders for a complete Tatooine experience. Some small critics though : LEGO needs to built movable legs for the short characters and I wish Chewbacca was toller also, ultimately I think they should offer 3 different lengths of movable legs. Also the drinks/ bottles design could have been a bit more creative. Final comment from someone who used to play LEGOs in the 80s : I used to love the LEGO floors, those big squares that would replicate the moon surface or the desert with their little dunes. They were so great to built sets and immediately create a landscape. The cantina itself is very nice and had good detail, but 1 major improvement would have been to make the behind the bar area 1 stud wider and the customer area outside the bar 2 studs wider on both sides. There is very little room to place mini figures in a diorama style with it closed. The part count is high but it felt like over half of the parts were single stud pieces. One nice addition would have been the beast of burden that sets outside by the dewback in the movie. I found that the mirco bantha works almost perfect for this in size (side note: please make a to scale bantha). Ultimately, I'm not sorry I purchased it. Of the large Star Wars sets the Ewok Village and Sandcrawler were the favorites for many years. This set may replace those. The value for the money is there. As many mini figs as the Ewok Village, same price. More individual characters whereas other sets provide duplicates or more droids (Death Star, Sandcrawler). The set is straight forward to build but so much fun. My 13 year old built the bulk of the set but any of us could jump in on the next bag and not become lost. The younger kids (10 and 7) love the way the set can be opened up and customized. The Jawa hut opens and detaches for example. The set folds up nicely for display and is not nearly has bulky as the Hoth or Bespin sets. This is an excellent set. I recommend this. The final model is excellant, the scenes created by this strightforward build can accurtely recreate the action from 'A New Hope'. Some of the minfigures in this set are so stellar, such as &ldquo;Garindan,&rdquo; better known as the imperial spy. The Ithorian is also fantastic, with his toe printing and beautiful molded head. However, there are little things in the set that are so disappointing, they almost ruin the set. First, the new stormtrooper helmet mold is gross. It lacks playability (the trooper can&rsquo;t even turn his head!!) and looks like it was run over by a steamroller. I don&rsquo;t understand how lego hasn&rsquo;t reverted back to the older superior mold. It&rsquo;s far better, and allows kids so many more options for playing with them. Second, no greedo arm printing. Disappointing, but not a deal breaker. Lastly, lego always advertises the torso molds with perfect flesh colors underneath the folds of the jackets. But when opening the mini figures, the flesh is completely whited out and incorrect. It&rsquo;s scummy, and a straight up scam to advertise one product and deliver a bad substitute.
