It took me about 6-7 hours to build and it was pretty easy. The best part of this set is the roof panelling of the Falcon which is now divided into 5 larger sections, compared to previous editions of the Falcon, which had more individual panels. I also found the spring shooter parts to be well hidden, especially for someone like me who does not use the play features at all. This one is the best of the minor variations. They improved on it across the board. The set hits it out of the park for display, playability, collectability or making your own movies. While some sets cater to a single scene (sometimes even a minor and very linear one) this set is endlessly playable not only for scenes across the entire franchise but for open ended imagination as well. Adding bricks to fill the holes (not forgetting the drop ramp clearance, of course) will add some weight to the build, but what you will end up with is a build that goes from very little flex to ZERO flex with the addition of probably 40 bricks?. I'm also looking at drawing out the nose section a bit with flat pieces, it doesn't look deep enough (look at movie stills, the nose section is pretty flush with the underside - this build has a pretty substantial &quot;step&quot; between the nose and the superstructure). Now, this next bit isn't really a gripe, just to point something out: this set is half the size of the ultimate collector series one. It is the second Falcon I've built, I also built the Force Awakens Millenium Falcon (75105). It has some nice improvements over that set which is very similar. I gave it 4 stars because the set was missing 3 pieces, and the instruction book was missing 35 pages. The pieces were all common pieces and easily borrowed from other sets, and the instructions are readily available online, but for the cost, these inconveniences are frustrating.
