First, the characters are spot on; Tigger's tail makes me more happy than a LEGO piece should be able. I only wish there was an Owl, Kanga and Roo (hint, hint LEGO). The little details inside and outside of the house are perfection: the &quot;hunny&quot; pots, Poohsticks crate, standing mirror, and bee art add all the homeyness of Pooh's little house. Then there are the beehives with spinning little bees -- be still, my LEGO heart, they are the cutest EVER! I also love how the house actually closes and opens, what a great detail. The build itself was fantastic. There were many pieces I either hadn't seen before or hadn't seen in a very long time, and then there were many standard LEGO pieces that were used in entirely new ways. Usually, I can knock out a LEGO build in a single sitting, no matter the size, but I actually took a break with this one and did it over two days. It was quite involved.....and I loved every minute of it. I truly cannot recommend this set enough. Whether you love Winnie the Pooh, love LEGO, or lover of either in your family, this set is not to be missed. And I can't stay enough about the minifigures and I couldn't have been more happy that Eeyore was included! I can&rsquo;t wait to grow my collection of bricks so I can build a stony bridge and stream, honey tree, and more. The build is easy and engaging, with the only tedium being with constructing the leaves, but that was to be expected. This is hands-down my favorite set in years, though as a lifetime Disney fan, I&rsquo;m certainly biased. There are so many small little details and references to the original 1977 film, and the love and care that went into the design really shows throughout. Plus, I was so pleased to see Rabbit included, as he&rsquo;s my favorite and is often left out when it comes to merch. I really hope that we get a third Disney minifigure series, so I can add Owl, Kanga, and Roo to my display. The set isn&rsquo;t imposingly large, making it a great display piece that won&rsquo;t monopolize precious shelf space. Then when they introduced it, the anticipation elevated like a bear riding a red balloon on a blustery day. I couldn't wait to assemble it when it finally arrived. I have to say, this is one of my all time favorite sets after completion. I know many would like to see all the characters in minifigure form (and I'm one also), but I'm quite satisfied with the selection. These are the primary characters that you would meet in the theme parks after all. Christopher Robin could be easily added anytime and the others would be a welcome addition in the future if ever created. I did add some blooms in the tree to give a more &quot;Spring&quot; look because for some reason, Winnie the Pooh always reminds me of Spring. I do want to say that I had a lot of trouble placing the 4 leaf pieces onto the base using the clear stems and clips inside the mound. I circled them in the photo, step 63 is on page 62. I'm sure it was me, but if you too have trouble, just be patient with it. This was by far one of the most difficult steps that I have ever experienced in my building days, and I did some really hard technic sets. I would also have liked to have seen, at least, an option to have a piece to connect to Pooh to give him a nice round belly. This set has a lot of character and so many &quot;not so hidden&quot; treats. It also has a lot (and I mean a lot) of extra pieces since it does use so many small parts. Which is not a bad thing. Lego has also opened some opportunities to expand on for some great MOC ideas, like Eeyore's house, the stone bridge over the stream, Rabbit's house, and even Gopher's hole. Not to mention the seasonal changes to the tree itself. I can't recommend this set enough. If you're a Pooh or Disney fan, this is a must. I think if you're a LEGO Disney fan, this is a must have. I will say the price does seem a little steep for the size of the set/number of pieces. If additional mini-figures had been added (Christopher Robin, Kanga, Roo, and Owl), it would have been perfect. Maybe they'll do another Winnie the Pooh set in the future, and we'll see additional characters then?
