The instructions are very easy to follow, and it wasn&rsquo;t too difficult. I love all the little details that are included. The doors even have a wall behind them that can slide open and closed to really replicate the room of requirement. It has 587 pieces in it and it is for age 8 plus. It comes with harry potter, Hermione granger , Draco Malfoy, the grey lady and Blaise zabini. And the castle and a dragon. The castle has a door that closes to hide the castle doors which is neat. I would recommend this if your child like Legos and harry potter. The featur of the fire snake is amazing and adds a little more to your ability to play. Plus all the stuff in the room makes for even more options for how you want the room of requirement to look. Over all the build was nice and not too hard. The building techniques are rather ingenious - from the opening doors and walls to the folding sides to play with or display the Room of Requirement however you'd like - the attention to detail shows. I especially like all of the piles of objects - they are thoughtfully laid out and are easily identifiable as the objects from the book/movie. Brilliant how Fiendfyre (the fiery serpent-like creature) can be built standalone or emerging from the walls. And great minifigure selection too. I can't beat this value for the price point of the set. Though in Book 7 I think Harry came out on the 5th floor. &amp; with Fiendfyre Harry likely came out on the 3rd floor. But should not be Ground Floor with all the stone color. 3) Zabini should not be here! But managed to give up the 2 floors and build an external wall. The stone color is just too much to replace.
