<span itemprop="description">I bought this in January 2024 and forgot it until it showed up on Lego stores again in December 2024. I was annoyed that I biased building it during the intended year and surprised that a year-old calendar was being sold without a discount.
Even though the box art doesn't suggest there are spare parts or instructions to modify the set for other years, it turns out there are. It actually includes the parts and instructions to make all ten digits, and looks like it can display any year up to 2037 (so long as you don't lose your spare parts). Unfortunately, trying to build the "8" will use more quarter round tiles than the set appears to include, so you will have to raid another set for parts or retire your calendar after 14 years of faithful service.</span>
