<span itemprop="description">My usual concerns with a creator set at this price point (we have quite a few creator cars) are the following two: 1) the wheels are fixed; 2) the output is a bit rough on the edges.
Glad to say that it's not the case for the Mustang. The turnable wheels work perfect (I believe in an interview the lead designer actually talked about how he refined the mechanism for smaller sets?). All the gaps around the edges are well-covered. The finish looks amazing.
I also enjoyed the building of extra components. It's a bonus, like a DLC for a great video game. I want to say thank you to the team for designing this. Really great fun.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My wife bought this for me for Xmas. This is the first Lego model I've built. I had a blast building it. The detail is pretty incredible I didn't want to rush it because when you start, you don't want it to end.
I found the instructions easy to follow. I like how all of the parts are bagged, it makes for establishing a good stopping point.
It's pretty amazing to watch it come together and see all of the engineering and design that went into it. A really neat model. Nice job!</span>

<span itemprop="description">This model would have been a 5-star rating if it hadn’t been for some printed parts for the bonnet (hood), roof and sills that are woeful is terms of quality. For a model that’s iconography is it’s stripes, the fact that printed parts simply don’t line up is unforgivable. Before Lego customer services retort with a comment relating to how I might have built it, note that the edges of the bricks are aligned in the photo I’ve uploaded. That aside it’s an enjoyable build, just set your expectation that the finished article might not look as good as you’d want it to be.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I've been a LEGO builder since the 90s and I can say without a doubt that this kit, when built and on display, is the most impressive, true-to-source replica LEGO set I've ever seen. The feel of every element of the real Mustang is there, and the smooth operation of the doors, hood, trunk, and other components is unmatched. I was excited by the photos online when it was released, but I can't put into words how much more impressive it is when it's built.
Construction was mostly par-for-the-course, with only a few delicate steps that might prove challenging for someone without building experience. I made one mistake between L-shaped and modified L-shaped elements (almost indistinguishable from a foot away, but would have stood out in the final build) and had to do a bit of surgery on the kit to get things corrected, but otherwise the instructions are as clear as ever and the build was really enjoyable.
In terms of display value, this kit now has a prominent spot on a shelf in my living room (and I don't often display LEGO kits anymore). It'll be at home in almost any setting, from a kid's bookshelf to an office desk. Definitely don't let this one slip away!</span>

The original car (I owned a real one) the two are quite a bit different in length. Also the add on real spoiler doesn't really blend with the car well and looks out of place. I just left it off. The door system is nice and the working steering is a good feature.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This was a great build. It wasn't repetitious as some builds can be. The steering and rear lift are very cleverly done and was fun to watch evolve over the build. The inclusion of extra customization is awesome and really change the look/feel of the car.
I labelled it as challenging because there are a couple of spots early on that require a bit of dexterity. Younger builders might need help...or maybe I'm just getting old! :)
I did have similar issues that others have pointed out. I had some marks on the windscreens and the stripe prints weren't exactly lined up from piece to piece, but neither are deal breaking as the model still looks great. The imperfections are only really noticeable upon close examination.</span>

I have assembled MANY Lego sets and this is the first time I was not able to follow the directions. It looks like the quality of the printed picture suffers from poor quality paper or poor quality ink. Many times I had to take the vehicle apart going back several pages because the pictures were not clear. The black lines denoting the separate pieces cannot be found.</span>

Pour ma part, je n'ai eu aucun problème d'alignement, il est vrai que certaines bandes ne le sont pas, mais en trouvant la bonne combinaison, j'ai réussi a bien les aligner. Alors essayez de les retirer et de les replacer tout simplement pour résoudre ce problème ..
Par ailleurs, le véhicule est splendide et l'expérience de la construction est toujours un vrai plaisir.

This GT 390 could’ve been a little bit better if the air filter had chrome on it, since other filters from that era had that, but other than that, it was a really great build for the buck!</span>

<span itemprop="description">A brilliantly detailed model, the angular lines of this particular year's Mustang are particularly well suited to a Lego model. Great detailing really captures the style and feel of the car. Detailed engine and interior, nice door design. Made even better by the extra tune-up detail, with blower that still allows the bonnet to open, side exhausts, front air dam, spoiler and NO2 tank in the boot, topped off by rear axle that you can lift up.</span>
