What I haven't heard talked about is the interesting choice to include a certain... meatiness to the interior of the model. As I understand it, LEGO likes to make the insides of their sets colorful to aid in building. For this particular set, the inside has lots of pinks and reds, making the inside look a lot like the inside of an actual animal. There's even a spine along the tiger's back. While this may sound gruesome, I think it was actually a very exciting choice for LEGO. It makes me wish in the future we'll get sets where that's an intended feature of the finished model, like for educational purposes. I know I personally would love a model showing human anatomy, like perhaps a set showing the digestive system, or maybe a model of the human heart. LEGO is all about education, and I think the majestic tiger shows a willingness to depict that type of subject matter in a toy meant for people of many different ages. If I can be asked to dissect a pig heart in the fourth grade, kids today are certainly mature enough to handle a version of that made from plastic bricks. To that end, the tiger's great, I love that LEGO didn't shy away from making a really anatomically accurate animal, and I hope they keep going in that direction in the future. Also, the red panda and koi fish models are great, although the red panda is a bit stiff compared to the tiger and the koi. I recommend this set to both kinds of LEGO fans: the Players and the Displayers. Normally, I only buy the larger 18+ sets, so this was an odd purchase for me. The building process was of course much shorter than I was used to, but very enjoyable! The Tiger comes together using several clever building techniques. And what a cool detail that it is built out of pink, red, and beige bricks on the inside to represent organs and bones. In line with that anatomical accuracy, there is a pink flower element used in a way that gets a laugh out of everyone I show it to. The Tiger is brilliantly articulated, so you can put it in several cool poses in your display case, but I also imagine that it makes it a lot of fun for kids to play with. I am obsessed with this big cat! It was a challenge to build the red panda as we had to open all the bags rather than do it each bag at a time. A lot more time spent hunting through the pile. There was a lot of bricks left over from the red panda. Kinda disappointed that they couldn&rsquo;t design something else out of all those left over bricks. And I wish the tail had a bend in it. Tail seems bulky but not in a good way for this design.
