Compare to Creator this set is a bit pricy. Building was really good, and it was quite easy sometimes. You can open and close the upstairs roof for easier access. There also is an electric charging station for the car. The kitchen looked quite creative and so did the bathroom. My only cons are this: Bathroom looks cramped. | Overall, a great build! The greenhouse is a nice addition and adds to the 'eco' credentials along with the solar panels and electric car. I especially love how detailed the interior of the house is with kitchen, bathroom, living room and the two bedrooms all well equipped. The butterfly design for the roof is good - exposed studs on the outside look like tiles and having a simple opening mechanism gives easy access to the upstairs bedrooms. The minifigures and puppy are great and at last LEGO have wised up to the fact that not every set needs road plates outside of it! The driveway is perfectly good and you don't pay extra for an unwanted road plate (like in a lot of recent sets). All in all, it's great value and I can't believe LEGO are discontinuing this set so soon. It looks great next to 60291 Family House. I intend to get a second one of this very set (Family house and electric car) so I can mirror it on the other side to continue my street. My daughter enjoys making Friends sets because she sees the sets as a puzzle to solve. She was delighted when I presented her with the LEGO Family House and Electric Car set. It was the largest and most difficult set she had ever attempted and she set to work right away. The instructions were super simple, all the parts were there and it even had a few extra parts. The house, car and little Lego people were so cute.
