<span itemprop="description">Built this as a gift with a friend who was never into legos before (but has killed many a plant)... not only did she love the idea, but she spent the entire build grinning ear to ear as each piece was placed, and rushed to find a place to display it.
The bonsai tree makes very clever use of (mostly common) pieces to create an organic feel. I would not have guessed this would be possible using Legos at all, but the attention to detail shines in every segment. Make sure to read to the end of the instructions, because the "alternate tree ideas" are downright hilarious.
Just the right price, a joy to build, and earns pride of place in display. Very well done!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love Lego. I have the space shuttle, 2 Saturn V rockets the typewriter, ISS, Lunar lander.......
I needed something 'Lego' to fit on a bookshelf and thought the bonsai tree would be perfect. Sadly, it was the most horrendous 'build' experience. The colours in the booklet (dark brown bricks) made it almost impossible to decipher which brick I needed. I ended up using a magnifying glass with an LED light and even then it was mostly guesswork. Eventually I finished the 'leaves' section only to realise that the 'flowers' were a completely different (and separate) build. I have tried, and tried, and today I have finally given up and I am throwing out all the frogs and pink and white stuff. The pieces don't click together, the instructions seem to be deliberately designed to make the whole experience miserable, and if - like me - you find your eyesight not as good as it used to be, then give up right now.
A bitterly disappointing build (or 'half-build' in this case).</span>

<span itemprop="description">I have completed many sets and this set, BY FAR, has the worst set of instructions! Brown on brown pieces, green on green pieces with NO outlines to help you discern placement. I took the instructions to get sunlight and even used the flashlight on my phone. Neither helped very much. If you try this, look at the instructions for the pink foliage first if you decide on going with the green. There are absolutely NO instructions on placing the green foliage. I had to look at the pink ones to get a "hint". POOR POOR instructions. This set is touted to be peaceful and relaxing. The instructions did NOT prove to be either. The only saving grace is that the completed set looks great.</span>

Très beau rendu de ce set ! J’ai préféré mélanger les couleurs vertes et blanc/rose pour un rendu plus coloré.
Je trouvais trop simple en vert et pas assez naturel en blanc/rose.
J’ai trouvé la partie tronc plus technique que les autres sets de la même collection. A noter que j’ai un niveau débutant et que je n’ai monté que des sets de la collection florale.
Temps de montage : un peu moins de 2h a un rythme tranquille.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This was my first adult LEGO set and my first time building LEGO since I was a child. I was inspired to get my own LEGO after my son got his first set for his birthday and while helping him with it, I was jealous that I couldn't do more! So I looked up adult LEGO and went through heaps of amazing sets and decided this looked like something I'd like to build that wouldn't be too hard. And I was right. It looks fantastic and it was such a joy to build, the only disappointment for me was that I underestimated my skills! I thought it would take me a lot longer but I was done in 90 minutes while also nursing my baby and talking with my older kids and showing them what I was doing. I would definitely recommend this set, especially to adults starting out with LEGO. It's given me a huge confidence boost to dive into a more challenging set, but in its own right this set makes a very sleek display piece and you don't need to remember to water it!</span>

It took him about two hours, about an hour of which was spent on the leaves (in the pink variant; there are many of them with tedious pieces). 10/10 would gift again and makes a great gift for young adults. Also works incredibly well to decorate a small nook or bookshelf.</span>

The only thing that I would say was absolutely terrible for feedback, is the tree base. Not the "wood" it sits on, but the base with the feet. Normally LEGO does a really good job making sure the areas that take pressure, can take it. Not this thing. I had to get extra legos and secure it. NOW it is rock solid.</span>

<span itemprop="description">It’s very easy to build, the instructions were very clear. It only took me about 2 hrs to build. Also, instead of adding only the green side or only the pink side, I decided to mix it up and add flowers to the green tree top. I have anxiety being a first time parent and simply building this piece while my child was sleeping brought me so much peace. It sits perfectly next to my orchid in the living room, I love it. It does have loose pieces so I recommend not putting it anywhere where it can easy fall or a toddler can grab it :)</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love this set. It looks great and the options for different leaves adds to the set. I like that there are examples of different ways to customise the foliage with your own parts at the end. I chose to arrange some of the branches (the bits that the leaf clusters attach to) to slightly change the shape and I think that the instructions would have been improved if they encouraged some experimentation at that step. Most of the criticism I have is minor nitpicks because this set doesn't really have any major issues to talk about.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Beautiful little bonsai. Built the pink option and the little pink frogs just the cutest ever. Only down side is you have to be very very careful when moving as it is top heavy.</span>
