Its hours of fun. You can mix the two colours and make a third colour. This kinetic sand is easy to mould. It really holds its own shape. With 3 included Kinetic Sand tools a dome, a knife, and a scoop. My Son love to this sand. Kinetic Sand is the original magical, moldable and mesmerizing sensory sand. It flows through my Sons hands and never dries out so my Son can play again and again. With the Sandbox Set, He enjoy sandbox play all year long! perfect for the indoors. Squish it, cut it, scoop it, mold it. Wow! Has a few small sand toys which just adds to the excitement of this. its so satisfying, my Son wont be able to put it down! Its nice that the sand sticks together so it doesnt cause a complete mess everywhere (though be warned that you still will find lots of bits and pieces everywhere!) My daughter loved forming this sand into little mounds/castles and mixing the colours together. She also enjoyed using the tools such as the knife to cut up the sand. Even her toddler sister enjoyed the feeling of the sand and playing with it. The sand definitely keeps the kids busy and they generally play with it a few times per week. I was a little apprehensive of letting my son play with this toy as I was expecting a huge mess but it was very easy to clean up and my son LOVED it. I put it all in a large baking dish so my son would have a large contained space to play with it. He was fascinated by it all. The sand did come out of the package extremely firm and hard to play with but quickly became malleable after I helped squish it a bit.
