As a home with lots of creative play snd dinosaur play This toy was a no brainer. First it took a little bit for the kids to figure out how the sound works and the movements. They were really just playing with it without the sound before I helped them investigate. The tail is the handle if you will for movement. This is not ideal for small hands to navigate while their Dino is terrorizing the living room. A little one either needs to be dedicated to minute puppeteer work, or to just play with a well sculpted and painted dinosaur. My kid chose to just play and wasn&rsquo;t concerned about creating all the movement for sound. The sound is realistic and is activated when he pushes for any of the movements. The color and detail is amazing and is the perfect weight and size for small hands. He was SO excited to add this Baryonyx to his collection and bring to school to show off how the toy roars. He has be independently playing with the Baryonyx and other dinosaurs, which is always nice since that is a very welcomed break for me during a global pandemic.
