Haven't figured if 6/6 bases is doable (at least my son was amused as he could only do 3/5 lol). He loves using it. He can build his own towers and let the marbles go down. There are about 7 marbles of each colour (not regular marbles) it's abit smaller, but still works. Do not try to follow them. If you follow the photo on the box, and use the instruction diagram as reference (knowing they are incorrect), you can eventually build the one in the photo. The end result will have all the path pieces being used and marbles ending in 3 of the bases. This is non-trivial to figure out mostly because the instructions put you on the wrong course and do not match the box photo. Also, if the loop keeps coming off, you need to reverse the piece for proper fit. Quality is pretty poor, but usable. The marbles are little plastic balls. The structure is not stable and can fall apart very easily. Some of the pieces fit tightly and some are loose. The instructions have many errors. All that being said, if you do get it built properly, it's pretty fun. There are some pretty unique pieces like the fork and the loop. If you want to build free form, you will need more connector tubes (or purchase another set ($$$) and combine). The box says 3+ but I wouldn't recommend it. I guess they put 3+ because toddlers and babies could swallow the marbles. My daughter is almost 5 and would not have been able to build it by herself for sure. She does love pouring the marbles down into it though. The fun factor is definitely there. I've attached a corrected image of the instructions to help. It's a shame because the wrong instructions really make the product seem crappy. It would have been even better if they included step by step instructions similar to Lego instructions. If it had proper instructions, more connector tubes and nicer marbles, I would probably rate it 4/5. Instead of 6 they gave me 5, but did give me a extra top funnel (which is not needed, unlike the base). As building, the 3 year old who got it as a gift noticed &quot;it's not very stable&quot; - truer words were never spoken. It took two adults to build it and the instructions are madness. I've added a picture so you can all feel my pain. If you look at this thing the wrong way it will fall apart. Also, I probably should have figured this out just by basic mechanics, but the marbles can only ever go into 3 base parts. Each building piece has an opening and a closing, so just logically half of the bases will never see marbles.
