<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE the creativity that the Hot Wheels Track Builder Unlimited Speed Clamp Pack inspires. I would even categorize this toy as STEM, for it allows children to utilize surfaces of varying heights and widths. THEY get to determine how fast their new car (included) goes and THEY get to create the look of each new track.
I have 3 children, ages 2, 6, & 8, all with many different interests, but this excited and engaged ALL 3! It allowed them to work together and problem solve with the clamp and tracks included, why something was or wasn’t working... how they could make the car go even faster or in the direction they wanted it to. The clamp is easy to use, even for a 6 year old with a broken arm...my 2 year old was the only one needing some assistance from her brothers but that didn’t stop her from
playing!
We received this product, free of charge, in exchange for my honest opinion, and I can honestly say, we will certainly be buying more! My 6 year old already has many of the additional sets on his wish list, and my teacher heart (always looking for toys that inspire creativity) is totally ok with that!</span>

We had to get creative on what to attach it to since it didn't clamp well to our handle door knob. We didn't have any extra sets to hook it to so we made a jump ramp with books. I think this would work even better with more track sets and I will be getting some to make this ramp even more fun. The clamp was easier to use than the old type but probably a little looser.</span>

He discovered when you clamp it to an object, like a table or shelf, it doesn’t always have a tight grip and moves a little. It all depends on the thickness of the lip it is clamping to. My 8 year old likes being able to try different track set ups attached to the clamp launcher and playing around with the speed of the cars and height of the jumps.</span>

The first day we had it he tested it out everywhere inside and outside our house and we were both amazed how awesome it worked! Squeeze a button to tighten onto table. Needs a table or other object with a couple inches depth to attach to. On the first table I tried on it was not as steady because I wasn’t able to attach the device as far back. Worked great on second table. Kids loved adding a loop to fly the cars down.</span>

It does not stay together very well and comes apart a lot. The car does not go down it all the time either due to bumps in parts. We clamped to multiple tables and it was not as fun as expected.</span>
